Got taken here on a first date a week ago and the service was incredible. Very relaxed atmosphere but definitely not common for portland. We ordered the spanish coffee and they make it at the table! It was super cool and i would def go again.

Huber's was a delightful surprise on a hot summer day in June. My family and I ordered a variation of turkey dinners as a treat. Our server Summer was extra attentive; we were served our beverages and dinners within almost 10 minutes or ordering. The atmosphere was equally as pleasant as was the story behind Huber's history. Truly a wonderful culinary experience.

I ordered the roasted turkey wings. They did not disappoint! They were very good. The mashed potatoes were ok, but they could have been prepared better. There was an ingredient that made them ok, but not great. The Spanish Coffee was good. It is uniquely prepared at your table.
Huber is located in downtown Portland. Parking is limited. Like most locations downtown, it was a short walk.
I went a few months ago for my birthday after hearing about it on KGW around Thanksgiving time. Lived here for years and somehow never heard of Huber's. BIG MISTAKE! Where have you been all my life, Huber's?!
From the atmosphere to the customer service to the AMAZING food, and equally amazing over the top Spanish Coffee, Huber's knocks it out of the park.
My wife ordered the Turkey Cream Cheese and Cranberry Sandwich, and I ordered the Half and Half which is one part turkey with gravy and one part ham. My dish also came with a side of mashed potatoes with gravy.
The turkey was so unbelievably tender and the ham practically melted in my mouth. At some point I knew I was getting full but I did not care at all. Nope. I could've ate more. I'm sure I could've found room for it somewhere in my tummy.
In between dinner and dessert my wife ordered herself a Spanish Coffee. If you've seen the various videos here, yes, a bartender does come out and personally make one in front of you. They also light it on fire. It's such a nice touch. And it is every bit delicious as it looks.
After our fantastic dinner we had ourselves from scratch made house Pumpkin Pie. Like everything else that night - perfect! It truly topped off one of the best meals, one of the best dining experiences ever.
I've heard everything here is as local and fresh as it gets, and it truly shows. I can see why they have been around since 1879. Never ever change Huber's. EVER!

I haven’t been here for years. I remember being in a room closer to the street, where the half curtains are located. This time, in spite of reservations, we were seated in the bar, which has a tile floor. It was packed with guests. We were in a booth, but could barely hear each other’s voices due to the ambient noise. The food was ok. I certainly will not return, especially with out of town guests. Do not recommend. Sorry, Huber’s.

We immediately got seated even though our reservation wasn’t for another hour. The service was great and the food absolutely delicious. We especially loved the fettuccine Alfredo and the crab cakes. The kids enjoyed cream sodas in different flavors. The place has a special atmosphere with stained glass ceilings and mahogany.
