I was hoping for a good spicy pork meal with steamed rice. I ordered it with no veggies as I am on blood thinners and restaurants like these always put a crap load of broccoli on stir fry. It was like I insulted the hostess, she questioned me and I had to repeat my request twice. Even with that I did tip quite nicely since I know they are trying to make a living. I live on the west side and was looking forward to the spicy pork. When I finally got home I had to heat it up and then sat down to eat and found the first bite quite chewy. I just let it pass as a miss while trimming the meat during prep. However, as I progressed through the meal, I found most of pork the same. I was truly disappointed and decided it was a $14 lesson I just learned. Maybe I'll try the chicken next time.

**Amazing Teriyaki Spot in Portland!**
During a work trip to Portland from Seattle, we decided to grab some teriyaki nearby. After reading several great reviews, we chose this place. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by the low prices and expected small portions because of it. However, when we got back to our hotel room, we found the portions were large and the food was absolutely delicious! I wish we had more places like this in Washington for such a great price. Came here on a whim as I was craving teriyaki bowl and my teriyaki joint was closed for the day. Amazing customer service ,clean establishment, clean condiments. Usually I'd grab a teriyaki bowl with steamed veggies but today I went with a combo plate of chicken and pork and was definitely not disappointed. Chicken was thin but perfectly marinated and the pork was literally the best meat ever !(from daughters POV). Overall great experience ,only 4 stars as I didn't know or see if I could sub out the salad for steamed veggies . Will have to ask next time and will update rating later when I come back.
