Favorite sushi in Portland. Ichidai will be sorely missed. To all of the staff: good luck with your next adventure!
I know they are closed but I want to give a shoutout to my favorite sushi place in Portland . So many good memories and good food. Gochisousama deshita!
Please open back up, this is the best and most favorite place I’ve ever been to. Been a long time 15+ year customer.
Unfortunately, it sounds like Ichidai is not reopening after the quarantine ends.
Always good, reliable, food and service
The BEST Bento Boxes ever! I love trying a little bit of everything and the variety was astounding. There were so many items on the menu I was interested in, and that's saying something since I can be a little picky. Everybody, including the non-sushi eaters and sushi enthusiasts, were fully satisfied.
Ordered the dinner combination, food came out pretty quickly even though they were busy. Everything tasted delicious and fresh only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the portions were kind of small compared to the price.
I went here recently for a kind of date. It was a small place, and looked maybe a little aged but definitely a gem. I went on a Sunday and my waitress was very busy, but she was super pleasant and helpful and kind to us.
Low key Japanese restaurant hidden on SE Powell. Nothing fancy, one of my favorites in town.
Great real Japanese restaurant. Not just a restaurant that sells Japanese food.

My Ichidai dinner bento, not only tasted great, it was a bargain. This restaurant is a little hard to find, but worth the effort.
Best authentic sushi in town. Look at the white board for daily specials.
Best place nobody knows for Shasimi and Sushi.
Fresh and delicious sushi with friendly service. A must while in the PDX area!
Best sushi in town hands down
