We brought a large group here on the recommendation of Travel Portland and it did not disappoint. Kyle and Jessica worked with me in advance to create a family-style menu for our group of 13 people. We had changes to the number of people last minute, and a few allergies that arrived on-site that day that I didn't know about, and they accommodated all of our changes with the most customer-service focused attitude. The service was top-notch, so attentive and above-and-beyond. The pasta was fresh and clearly homemade. We are coming back for a conference in July and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Il Terrazzo for groups large or small.

This is a gem of a place...my second visit and will absolutely go back. Thank you for great service, delicious food, and terrific ambience.
Very nice atmosphere - Warm, and homey while maintaining a modern sleek style, like a fancy wine cellar. Great riverfront view, even at night.
Great service - All staff are very friendly and gave great suggestions and information for both their menu and local areas to visit while I am travelling.
Delicious food - My pomodoro arrosto, tomato soup, gelato and hot chocolate were all fantastic. I’m not interested in wine, but if I was this is where I would go.
Perfect for a date night or wine/travel enthusiasts.

Delicious pastas and very helpful staff but the 20%service charge in addition to the tip was tough.

Il Terrazzo is within easy walking distance to the Keller Auditorium, and a 10-15 min walk is a nice way to wake yourself up before the show. Plus, you can park in the garage across from the Keller on the ground level, walk to and from the restaurant, and zip right out after the show! The menu is far-ranging, lots of authentic Italian favorites to choose from, and the service is perfect: right there when you want them, and not bothering you when you don't want them. We got the cherry chocolate cannoli for dessert, and our server even snagged a few Amarena cherries from the bar for us for garnish--yummm, and a lovely personal touch. Great place for date night, the view is beautiful and the room is quiet enough that you can have a conversation without shouting. One of my favorites for show night!
The food was okay, bruschetta was done well, and Caesar salad was typical, but had too many croutons. The main pasta dish was overcooked and chewy. The waiter was attentive. The setting along the Willamette is pleasant. Noise level was better after the next table of six left. Parking was easy on the nearby circle. I won't rush back but because of convenient location, would go back to meet someone.
Consistently fantastic food and service in an intimate small restaurant. Located on the peaceful Riverwalk with a great view of the marina, river and skyline.
Only came here because Sunday Sauce was busy. Overpriced pasta for something I can make from home. Overpriced drinks. Total of $100 for 2 pastas, 2 drinks + a 20% service charge. Plus they were expecting a tip?

The servers were attentive and knowledgeable, and just so so kind. Will return just for the server experience, the food was a bonus!

You know when you step on a Lego barefoot in the middle of the night and are furious you went that route? This is that spot. Honestly, we only went there because of the Xmas Ships but I would recommend going somewhere else. The food was ridiculously priced and was garbage. The drinks were ok. Nothing to spend $80 on for 2 cocktails, 1 Caprese salad (14) and bread ($7). Their automatic 20% gratuity is a method for them to do less, learn less about the food that they’re serving and then try to get more from you. Speaking of more, our server had the audacity to tell us that anything we tipped on top of the 20% would go directly to her (if we had the chance, we would’ve tipped 15%). Upon saying no to an extra tip, she grunted and walked away. While leaving we locked eyes with the server and hostess and said ‘thank you for everything’ and they ignored us while looking away. Don’t spend your money here. Other places in Portland have better food and managers.

This is a very nice restaurant! We enjoyed our experience. Very bright and clean atmosphere. Nice view of the water.
I’m very picky when it comes to Italian food since my dad is an Italian chef. We were in town visiting & staying at a hotel down the street. We decided to have dinner here since it was in walking distance. Can I just say it was like having dinner in Italy!! Absolutely amazing! The pasta, the sauce, the bread my cocktail. All of it was delicious! Service was wonderful too. Will definitely go back when we’re back in town.

The service is always amazing. We always come back for more. Thank you to all staff especially Libby for making us feel like family.
We were staying at the River Place so looked for restaurants int he area. Glad we found this! The menu is primarily pastas, and some appetizers, we had the Polenta and the meatballs as appetizers very good. Entrees Bolognese and the Alla Monzese, both delicious. Desserts: Tiramusu and Chocolate Cherry Cannoli. Had a very good red from Calabria - Scala Ciro Rosso
