Table was nice and location was great. Food was mediocre. Carbonara was like Mac and cheese not carbonara. Up charge for bread with butter $13.00!! Automatic 20% gratuity is added to the bill. As stated the location is lovely but food was not worth repeating.

Amazing Italian food, without the "Americanization" found in most high end restaurants. This is a delightful establishment serving fresh, handmade pasta with regional sauces, some very unique, others not so much but all are artfully done! The tagliatelle and linguine were so fresh! Very good wine list, as well as stellar appetizer and salad selections. If you're a fan of Caesar salads, don't skip this one, it's terrific!

Started off well. Enthusiastic server detailing the homemade food options. However, they didn't live up to the sales. Very dry tomato bolognese with very little tomato present. Tortellini only comprised 5 or 6 pieces and were hard. My friend had some mushroom ravioli which he said was very good. Flavor of the day raspberry cannoli had no raspberry flavor to it at all. This being said we were satisfied that the food was ok. It went downhill when my friend went to pay the bill. There was a 20% service charge added to the bill but the server then asked for a further 20% because they 'don't know where the service charge goes' and the extra 20% would go direct to her. So she wanted a 40+% tip on a $300+ bill. She got serious attitude when he refused and did completely ignored us following this. It left a very sour taste.

Overall, we wanted to love the restaurant but overall our dining and culinary experience fell a bit meh. River views are indeed present even with your indoor seating. The restaurant ran out of Bread for the bread service which as a carb lover, highly disappointing, along with the substitution of rosemary crackers, the same brand we purchase from our grocery store. Overall our entrees were mild in flavor, the Bolognese and the Carbonara which both were warm, not hot so my Carbonara was almost congealed. The atmosphere was friendly, an unexpected yet welcomed playlist. Overall, it was Ok.

Wasn't a fan of 20% corporate charge they add to your check. Great atmosphere but food was a little bland.

We have been to Il Terazzo multiple times and have enjoyed the food and service there. Last night, we went there before an event at the Keller auditorium nearby. We told the waiter that we were going to the theater and wanted to put our food order in right away. He smiled and said he understood. I ordered an ahi-style dinner salad and my wife ordered ravioli and a side salad. He brought out bread and her side salad right away. About 10 minutes later he brought out my dinner salad and indicated the ravioli would be out shortly. From then, we waited almost 30 minutes before we got her pasta, and she had to rush to finish it. We asked him multiple times about the entree and with an attitude that wasn't great, he kept saying he would check with the kitchen.

By FAR! The worst service ever! I hate to give bad reviews... but... I had always loved this restaurant so I took some friends from out of town. The dinner took 2.5 HOURS!!! A glass of wine took25 minutes. The bread service... which used to be awesome... 8 dollars for 6 small slices of cold bread. All in.. it was a terrible experience. Not ever going back! Ever! And the rest of the meal was mediocre at best' May have changed hands? It ended up being expensive and embarrassingly! slow!

Great food, great view. Walking distance to the Keller. Pre-show meal and it was perfect for what we needed.

Be warned , food is good but you’ll get a surprise service charge at the end of your meal. Ours was over $20.

This isn’t vocalized in the menu or by servers and barely any of it goes to the server. So be prepared to tip extra on top of this .

I went to the restaurant for take out. I was told that they are not doing take out orders because people have made reservations for the night. I went at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday. and the restaurant was empty! I understand that people make reservations. The people with reservations haven't even arrived to place an order yet. Why would you turn away a paying customer when the restaurant only has 2 tables occupied? It didn't make sense. Their lost, not mine. I spent my money( $$$) at another restaurant. Their lost, not mine.

Let me just say- the atmosphere was lovely, being seated outside overlooking the waterfront docks on a warm summer night was bliss. It's the food that kind of disappointed us. I came here with my 3 friends and we were excited to try this place and catch up. The Burrata was alright, it was kind of bland. The bread didn't have any Italian flare (meaning it was probably just white American bread), and we're pretty sure my friend's Bolognese was missing the sauce... Everything else was ok, nothing blew it out of the water. Our server was nice, other than when the food came out, mine didn't arrive for another 15 minutes, a little awkward when everyone else was eating and I just kind of stared at them while I waited lol. Not a pretty big deal, just what happened, as we were used to having our food arrive at the same time. The dessert tray was nice, the chocolate mousse and tiramisu were the winners for me. Overall, the atmosphere was on point, just the entrees seemed like they were rushed..

So we went to this restaurant with our 22 month old son when visiting from Canada. Exceptional food, service and kindness. It is a bougie atmosphere and they accommodated our son amazingly. No kids menu snd they made him the best grilled cheese ever. We will always eat here when coming to Portland ?

Kid-friendliness: Amazing. Bougie atmosphere staff exceptionally accommodating.

Our waitress was inattentive plain and simple. I worked in service for more than 10 years. I understand when someone is busy, and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But while being busy and obviously understaffed she spent time talking to other tables, just hanging out essentially. We weren't able to order our mains and drinks for 40 minutes. Thankfully a bartender came over and took our app order so we had something to eat while we waited. What bothered me the most was the fact that there was no apology for the wait. It was obvious we'd been left to wait and there was no acknowledgement. The food was good. The drinks were too strong and unbalanced. The portions were small. I wouldn't go back again after having that experience. Which sucks. Because I think it's in a beautiful spot and with more care it would be a wonderful place for dinner.

We had a wonderful meal at Il Terrazzo for the first time and we will definitely be back! It was very casual dining with amazing food. We sat inside but there is a ton of outdoor dining that's dog friendly. We were helped immediately, and sat by the window. Views of the river were lovely. We ordered their homemade bread and two pasta dishes. I had the Tartufo which was truffle pasta and my fiance had their lasagna and they were both incredible!
