Ordered $17 Paneer Tikka and it was the smallest portion I have ever received from an indian restaurant. 6 little pieces of paneer, 3 quarter coin size slices of green bell pepper, 4 quarter coin size slices of onion. That is all u get for $17 before taxes and delivery fees. Order or go elsewhere, this is not worth it.
I sample some chicken marsala two weeks ago a friend had. I placed a to go order while I was on my lunch. I sampled everything once I got back to work. IT WAS SOOOOO DELICIOUS AND EXTREMELY WELL SEASONED. The food was sooo good when I got home from work; I heated up more of it. DANG IT!!! Was just as good as the first bite. I was up at 2:22 am finishing off the rest. Justin was amazing and has the best food selection advice. Please visit. I swear you won't be disappointed. Signed...read full review
We order from here pretty consistently and it’s usually excellent but tonight was especially delicious.
Mulligatawny soup and chicken tikka kabob were absolute perfection. I know there are a lot of Indian restaurants in PDX metro, but India House is my favorite!

India House serves delicious Indian food that has consistently pleased customers. The samosa is a standout, and the seafood thali dinner and Kari lamb curries are also highly recommended. The food is very authentic and delicious, with varied choices for every personal taste and appetite. The service is great, with friendly servers like Kumar and Johnny managing multiple tables with ease. They are attentive, accommodating, and help first-time diners adjust spice levels perfectly. The food is fantastic at fair prices, making it a great choice for Indian food lovers. The atmosphere is excellent, with a pleasant vibe and a clean washroom, although it is not wheelchair accessible. Vegetarian options abound, and many customers return for the amazing takeout. Parking can be tricky, but the food is worth it, and the Indian hot tea at the end with dessert is a must-try.
