I got the Aloo Saag(spicy)and some veggie samosas. And holy wow, was it delicious. The mint chutney is on point and I think the samosas were dusted with black salt, which totally elevated them to another realm of tasty. The Staff was super nice also, a bonus.

This is a really great food cart! A lot of different options and they made us Matar Paneer even though it wasn’t on the menu. Really great spice levels and you get a lot of food. It’s a little bit easier to take it home to eat because they fill the container up to the top and it’ll stay piping hot until you get home.

Great food. Don’t order online. Prices over phone and storefront and cheaper. (“No fee” is a myth online)

I guarantee you this food is not worth waiting 45-60 mins for. We got chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. Both were just okay. Chicken tikka was better than the paneer which tasted defrosted…bummer because I really wanted to like it.

Food is amazing, people are nice, but they are constantly messing up our order. I have been given the wrong food four times now. We keep going back because the food is that good. Highly recommend the samosas.

It took 40 minutes to make a pints worth of food. Which took all of my lunch break and then some. It wasn’t even busy.

Tadka House on Lombard, and its sister location Taj just below Lombard on MLK, serve some of the most authentic and richly spiced Indian dishes I have tasted outside the subcontinent. The chana masala, saag paneer, kadai chicken, butter chicken, daal...everything is incredibly flavorful, not too greasy, and generously spiced (which my family loves). Really the only dilemma is that the prices are creeping up on the higher side, which means we can't go as often as we'd like (though portions are generous).

This place is awesome. Serious comfort food. It's so tasty and makes you feel so good inside, It's the best Indian takeout I've had since New York City, the best I've had on the west coast, bar none. It's so worth it.. I shared my chili garlic chicken wings with a traveler on the street they to agreed the excellence of it all.... Indian food is spicy, this is something you should know. You can't give a bad review cause you don't like spicy food but then order Indian food, that's all on you... Just saying...
