The service has been fantastic but the last two times I've gone the food was not good. The beef stew had very little beef. My wife and I both ordered the stew and neither had hardly any meat in it. I tried a fall salad the next visit and it was genuinely bad. They replaced it with a house salad and that wasn't much better but it was edible. This isn't on the service, they were excellent 👍. It's just the food.

During our recent trip, my husband and I decided to check out a local restaurant that came highly recommended. From the moment we walked in, Randy at the bar set the tone for a memorable evening. He greeted us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality that immediately made us feel at home, even though we were visiting from out of town.From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The friendly, personalized service Randy provided made this dinner stand out from the rest of our trip. We left not only feeling satisfied with a fantastic meal but also grateful for the warm, welcoming experience he created for us.

Feel like time to post again. Portland has such a hype as foodie town but so far for us few in between. However we have stumbled upon interurban by chasing something else. Place looked cool as a bar so we went in.. finally we have gotten creative well executed drinks as well as classics with great service at the bar. And to our surprise food was excellent and also so creative for a great price. Definitely will be back. Cheers till then

A remarkable fun and intimate atmosphere. I went here on a whim, and wow, the bartender was a genius. The steak frites were absolutely perfect. Medium rare steak with crispy golden thin french fries. 9.2/10 Will come back!

Cosy nice atmosphere. We went on a Thursday night and got parking right in front of the street. The drinks (old fashioned) was great. Loved the drumsticks and the smash burger. We will definitely go back again.

Perfect Portland look and feel. Cool tunes, cool staff, amazing food. Small indoor area, huge uncovered patio. Dozen local beers on tap, full bar. Must try the HH 10$ smash burger. Best HH burger I've found.
Beautiful little bar. I got some exquisite Mexican grilled octopus and a nice pint, it was all delicious and very fairly priced!
BUT they had the most AMAZING whiskey selection I think I have ever seen. I didn't have any whiskey but I am already planning to go back to make irresponsible spending decisions. There's a secret 🤫 whiskey menu with like $600 shots. Wild!

We found this place just walking on Mississippi Street waiting for our daughters salon appointment was over. This place is so awesome & beautiful, the staff is friendly & hard working. The food is superb & delicious with different items available, you won't be disappointed, I promise. The best part is the patio & the drinks they have a wonderful drink selection for everyone & its ALL delicious & will quench your thrist. If you are ever in the Mississippi street area, please give this place a try. It is absolutely amazing!

You'll notice I haven't written many reviews. I work in the service industry and specifically love craft cocktails. I just moved to the neighborhood, and came to Interurban to check out the late-night menu, hoping to find a space for me to unwind and grab some food for late nights after work.
After waiting at the door for a few minutes for someone to tell me to seat myself, I sat at the bar. It took the bartender a good 8 minutes to acknowledge my existence, and I ordered an drink.
I have spent a lot of time in restaurants and bars over the past decade, and have very rarely felt so unwelcome from staff. I sat alone, made it a point to not bring my phone (in order to be more present in the atmosphere around me) and ordered well. The staff spent more time away from their bar, or on their phone than interacting with the guests. As a long-time bartender, I would never expect the staff to be "my entertainment" or be forced to have a conversation, but simple hospitality should be a higher priority.
Love this place. A real gem.
