Great atmosphere and reasonably priced.
I drove down Portland from Olympia today to have a celebratory lunch with a friend. Being her birthday, she had picked out this restaurant, which of course is right on the water. And I have to say that I was impressed with the super service that we had and the delicious meal that we enjoyed. We were there for lunch and it was drop dead gorgeous 72° sunny boats going by all the good stuff that you expect at a waterfront restaurant. Even boats, pulling up to the dock outside of the restaurant! It all made for a pleasant experience with the ambience being what it was and the wait staff just doing such a terrific job. Thank you!
The food was great, I had Pacific fried oysters, and my friend had the lobster wrap.
Good in general ! The lobster wrap is a scam! Discontinue this product or replace it with something better!
Visited from San Antonio, Texas. The food was great and the atmosphere was beautiful. The scenery was awesome. People just drive up on their boats to dine in or have a drink. People were friendly.
Great place for lunch 😋
3 stars overall, Food unrated, service 3 stars, atmosphere 4 stars
This restaurant has so much character and a solid menu. Lots of seating inside and outside. Our server was Jesse. He was super nice and had a great smile!
We waited a good 45+ min for a table and got drinks at the tiki bar. Absolutely love that you can get a drink, sit and hang while you wait. You can take in the vibes and get some sun. There are many drink options and the bartender was lovely.
Self serve waters here. We ordered an app and two entrees and got our app in about 30 min and the food came over an hour after we ordered. Server asked if we needed anything and after two drinks each and two hours in we were ready for boxes. We’ll try the food at home.
Edit: I got a side of fries and mac salad with my meal and the mac salad literally came in a little sauce cup. Barely one bite. Wouldn’t call that a side, yikes.
It’s a great spot, but they were slammed and something must have happened in the kitchen or something for our food to take so long
Nice place to meet friends and watch the river roll by.
This place is AWESOME! Although we missed the summer menu by 2 days (the menu you see online) they still had some pretty good selections for their winter menu the atmosphere is fantastic the staff for amazingly friendly and the food was great!

Island Cafe is a staple on the island. They are now open for breakfast and the food is great. We are very happy with the menu, the service and especially the staff. The employees are amazing and every time we show up they call us by names. Vicky and Jenn are the best. We love the new fall hours and the breakfast is the best on the island. 🙂

So much fun! Sort of like an island vacation in Portland.
Our family decided to try this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The wait time was about 30 minutes. The food was decent but not exceptional. The wait staff were generally attentive with a few exceptions. The overall verdict is "OK", and considering the bill at the end, we'll explore other options for future seafood dining.

What an AWESOME little place! Went there for my Daughter's birthday (it's one of her favorite places ❤️), and was very impressed! Food is FABULOUS, reasonably priced with generous portions. The staff is Amazing- friendly, fast and accommodating. It is right on the water, so boats and paddle-boards just pull up, munch and head off... ?
We've got a new go-to!
