Been here twice in the last 4 months. Only here on off nights, so I'm not sure how busy this place gets normally. The food was good both times, and the sake selection is good. The wait staff has always been nice. Love all the artwork the have, and my companion always raves about the bathroom. Haha
This was my first ever meal in Portland, my friend and I came here on a whim before going to a show at the Wonder Ballroom, and it has by far been my best meal I've had the entire trip. We happened to get there during happy hour, which means we got 5 side dishes, 2 ramens, drinks and taiyaki for $66. It was amazing! Food was delectably delicious. Nan was our server, and they were nothing short of a dedicated professional that oozes nonchalant. Her presence and smile are warm and inviting, didn't mess up our order, and checked in frequently. Kindness goes a long way in the world and they know it!
