Always loved going to Jackrabbit. Their dumplings won my heart over during dumpling week 2019!
Marci was our waitress and was amazing. She recommended dishes that could be ready in our short time crunch. I'm telling you THE BURGER WAS AMAZING. If you like avocado, add it and you're set. I wish I would've had more time to enjoy my dinner rather than I inhale it. I hope to return soon. nice
My friends and I love this place! We come on Monday nights and it's always a pleasure. The staff remember us and it's lovely to be known!
Yes, it’s a Hilton Hotel Lobby Bar...but, it has such a great vibe. Staff ratio seems to be spot on, the seating arrangements are great for a quick business meeting or happy hour meetup with friends. The old fashion was great.
We had the Portland dining month menu. The carrot soup was delicious. The rest of the food was good but we weren't blown away. The service hit and miss. They diligently refilled our waters. It wasn't too busy but waitress only stopped by the table a couple of times and it was hard to find her to get a drink refill.
I made a reservation for 7 people for a mentor group I host. I arrived a few minutes early and was told I would have to sit at the bar until my party arrived (the place was empty, lots of tables open). Over the course of 30 minutes, now well into the reservation, 4 of my party had arrived and we were still denied to be seated at a table. I asked the person at the door why we couldn't get a table when I had made a reservation, and with an attitude she stated that they would only allow us to sit when the entire party arrived. I explained to her that we had people coming from multiple locations and arrival times would be variable, and that we only have an hour scheduled for this monthly meeting. She begrudgingly said she would "see what she could do". About ten minutes later we were given a table with a waitress who also had an attitude, and audibly huffed and stalked off when we only wanted drinks an appetizers. The entire experience was pretty disappointing and we missed over half of our meeting. I won't be coming back or recommending Jackrabbit to any colleagues. The deviled eggs were good though.
The food here at Jackrabbit is delicious and very unique, I love the combinations the chef has created like an Orange Cinnamon Roll. It's gooey and warm like a classic Cinnamon Roll but it's drizzled in a fresh orange glaze, it's perfect to have for breakfast if you have a sweet tooth like me. The reason for the 4-star is that the service is iffy. Sometimes I have someone very attentive and quick, and sometimes I have someone that forgets my order or doesn't come back to check on me. Overall, aside from the service, the delicious food and mochas are worth coming back for!
ambiance 10/10
Great happy hour!! A great place to meet new friends and great bartenders
Food was beautiful and tasty. It was brunch, I ordered eggs Benedict. The first egg was perfectly cooked. The second one I cut into was raw - a lot of uncooked egg white. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. When I pointed out the raw second egg, the server took seventy beats before offering to replace it. She seemed annoyed.

I went in for a quick drink and a late night snack. I ordered a beet cocktail that was AmAziNG. Then I got a sweet potato entree that I was told had only been on the menu for two days. It was outstanding!! 25$ for a sweet potato but definitely worth it. Great service as well! Will return.
I would say it was a positive experience. The food was good, nothing totally blew me away but a solid enjoyable meal. Our server was great, gave good recommendations and prompt with drinks. I mentioned I would like a glass of wine with the main course and he brought it shortly after my pasta was served without me asking. Was a bit noisy to visit with our friends but we were seated at a shared table. The crudo was fantastic and I loved my gin drink the server recommended. We tried it out for Portland dining month and I think we will give this one another try.

Cool vibe - carrot soup fine, but the chicken entree was like warm and a little oily. Dessert was the bomb!
Unfortunately the entree choices for dining month were not up to par. First course and dessert were good.
