The $1. Happy Hour oysters are the best. Unfortunately their reservations are limited. They do take walk ins and if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour, go early and be prepared to stand in line.
There were 3 of us and we sat at the bar and enjoyed friendly conversation with the bartender.
We had oysters, tuna, and bread. All good.

I recently visited Jacqueline, and overall it was a pretty enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a cozy, slightly upscale vibe that feels perfect for a seafood-focused dinner. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff made the whole meal feel relaxed and welcoming.
The oysters were definitely the highlight — super fresh and full of flavor. A few of the other dishes were good as well, though some felt a bit more about presentation than taste.
Overall, I think Jacqueline is a great spot if you're looking for fresh oysters. Consider most of the dishes are small, it is on the pricier side. Recommend to come for their happy hour oyster deal, or it is too expensive to me. It is a Resy restaurant, bring you Amex card to use your Resy Credit.

Amazing seafood!
Our group was lucky and managed to get a last minute seating, the host was incredibly polite and helpful. I definitely recommend getting a reservation ahead of time to ensure you get a seat. Street parking can be hit and miss as well.
The food was incredible. Our group opened for the chef's choice option, which, while a little expensive, was incredibly delicious and the portions were generous. We were given an mix of appetizers ranging from fresh oysters, salmon tartare, pear salad, calamari and other foods that split well between three people. Our final entrees was a cedar plank trout that was cooked to perfection, the meat tasted deliciously buttery and peeled right off the skin!
For great seafood in Portland, this is a must see spot! Visit if you can for a buisness dinner, date night, special occasion or if you crave incredible fish!

Great service! The raw oysters and seafood were a highlight. The ahi crudo with cherry ponzu and plum was a straight-up 10 out of 10, probably the best thing I ate all night. The hamachi crudo with charred pineapple and peanuts was also really tasty (I'd give it an 8), and the scallops were solid but not mind-blowing (7). Their house focaccia with kombu oil was truly unforgettable (10). The butter lettuces with green goddess dressing and nectarine were so fresh (10). Grilled peaches with pork cheek and fish sauce vinaigrette?!?! Perfect 10. My favorite dish of the night. I didn't love the melon with sheep’s cheese and vinegar, even though it sounded good conceptually. Chinook salmon with buttermilk and shishitos was great (8), and the halibut with salsa verde was excellent (9). The only real miss was the mussels with ’nduja. Too intense for me. Overall an outstanding meal...creative, balanced, and full of flavor. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and lovely service! Tasting menu was 100% worth it and a great value- Tons of food and the opportunity to sample more of the menu than ordering a la carte. Would recommend to anyone looking for a special event meal! Hope to be back!

One of my new favorite spots in town! Best deal on happy hour oysters, just need to get there early to get a spot in line. Their sauces are fantastic. Their oyster shooters and tomato salad were amazing, and their lobster roll rivaled the best I’d had in Maine.
