The patrons were lighting off fireworks. This has happen so many times I confronted the staff about it. The bartender didn't do anything about because the clearly inebriated staff member was outside participating in the activity. The intoxicated staff then started to make fun of me and told me that's what I get for living near a bar.

Stopped in for whisky. Not much of a selection so had a bourbon instead. Jake's is clean and safe place. Staff was friendly to non locals and we played a bit a pool with a few people. Seemed like a good local place for regulars but accepting of the wandering set of strangers.

I visited Jakes last week after just moving to the neighborhood. The bartender, Cassie, was very rude and ignored me while I waited for over ten minutes to just order a beer. Then I heard the same bartender, Cassie, arguing with another woman, very loudly, about how they hadn't gotten all of the cocaine they had purchased. I'm sure this conversation was heard not only by the patrons inside the bar, but those outside smoking at the picnic tables. I found out shortly after that, that Cassie the bartender, was arguing with her own mother about this drug situation. I will not be returning to this bar nor will I encourage my friends and family to go there either. I will not subject them to rude service, a bar that apparently has open policies regarding drug use and conversations about drug use, and potentially violent behavior. This is definitely not a friendly neighborhood bar if you are drug free.
I agree, nasty Leah is the reason I don't go there anymore. I keep waiting for a friend to tell me she no longer works there!

NASTY bartender!! Think her name is LeaApparently bartender closed my tab out because of shift change. She could have at least asked if I needed anything first. I didn't even know the bill was in front of me. I was busy responding to an email about a death in the family! She pressures me to sign it NOW. I said you want me to sign it now? Fine, crossed out the tip, signed it, had last swallow of beer and left. On my way out I heard her mumble something about why I'm mad.Guess she didn't like not getting a tip because she refuses to serve me now. It's not the only place around to play pinball! Guess they don't want any of my $800 monthly bar expendituresNasty!!!!

This place would be a lot cooler if their regulars weren’t tweakers and coke heads (the staff as well from what we can tell) my boyfriend who was clean from that stuff for a year has been given drugs there multiple times now since moving to the area and going there. They're more concerned about someone showing up angry because their partner was given drugs than the drug use itself that is happening in the bathrooms and out on the benches. I also see I’m not the first one to mention the drug use there in a review. See previous review. Needless to say we won’t go back. Clean out the garbage people and quit condoning drug use and dealing. You guys will end up in some big trouble eventually.
