Jalapeños Mexican Grill

The location in sandfly was out go too every week for years.Just recently they have changed the menu and raised the prices which is understandable and fine if the service and food was still consistent.The last three times we have had the slowest most inattentive customer service that we had to ask where our server was.Twice are order was taken wrong with the wrong item being served to us and they acted like it wasn’t there fault.Twice! it happened.I always order fish fried chimichanga and it is always whole filet fried and this last time it was over fried bits that made me sick after.My friend ordered fajita nachos he was given fajitas that was 3 more dollars.We were given a margarita and waited 5 minutes for a straw.Than when food arrives they completely ignore us. This was only the last time,this happened almost the same way the last 3 times.We are so sad that our safe place that we always relied on to be consistent is now on our never return list. I have not seen a manger there all three times this has happened.

I am a local and I have eaten here several times but last night was the worst experience I have ever had. I have never been treated the way that me and my family were treated. First. When we came in the hostess sat the party in front of us and he didn’t come back to seat us for another 5 minutes. After finally being seated by the door and nobody coming to our table except the guy to bring us chips and salsa, my husband asked a female waitress if we can move to a table away from the door. She never came back to our table. Instead she went and sat next to the hostess. After 10 minutes and nobody acknowledging us, I went to the hostess and asked him is anyone going to wait on our table. The female jumped up and went to the back and the hostess commented, nobody took your order yet? I said no. I saw him grab another busy waiter and ask him to help us. The female waitress went and sat back down. He took our drink order and never came back. I got up to see where he was and he was standing in a group talking so I went back to my table. He then came to our table and took our food order. Still no drinks. I then see a larger white party get seated and the waitress who refused to serve us, jumped up and take their order. We never got our drinks or food, so after patiently waiting, we got up and left and went to Tequila Town where we were treated with superior service. I will never eat at the Jalapenos on Broughton Street again because apparently I’m the wrong color. Shame on your staff!!!!

Their pozole used to be really good and cooked well now the meat is just hard like a rock when you bite into it. The food be cold

Much better than Don Pedro's. Not only do I think it tastes better, but you can easily see the difference in the portions. Don Pedro's is convenient. But I live in the area so this is much better.

It is authentic snd yummy. They make their own tortillas!!

PLEASE stop denying bathrooms to essential workers!I do Lyft, Amazon delivery and Postmates delivery.It is extreamely hard to do my job because no one seems to have a public bathroom anymore.I understand that with covid19 you want to protect your employees but many employees rely on lyft to get to and from work and many families rely on amazon and postmates so that they can continue safely quarantine themselves at home.We are doing a public service by helping our community and continuing to work in this difficult time.Please respect that and allow essential employees to use your bathroom.A great option to weave out the people actually working or using lyft as an excuse; is to simply ask the person (Lyft or Postmates employee) to show their most recent ride or order they have completed. It will show proof that we truly are out working trying to help families stay safe and make an income to pay our bills too.

Ordered a steak torta and tacos de lengua. Very fast service and my torta was very good! However my cow meat wasn’t the best. I would recommend this place.

My experience was excellent!Stephanie was very friendly and courteous and had good recommendations!The food was fresh,hot and delicious!I will go every time I visit Savannah!
