Our large party was sat next to the window and front door, it was extremely disturbing because we kept getting hit with the cold air every time the door open. I asked if we can move to another section of the table and the staff kindly accommodated it! Can we fix the front door situation? I went to Janken for my 28th birthday. The space is beautiful and the vibes were amazing. I enjoyed the food but I made a mistake and thought I ordered one item I had seen online in photos, when in fact I had ordered a different item. My mistake for not asking beforehand but it still was delicious. I do think it is a little pricey for the portion sizes but due to the ingredients and sourcing, I understand why it is so. I was given a free birthday dessert of cream puffs which was delightful. The final bill was over $300 with gratuity included, but since this was a special occasion, I believe my experience was worth the price. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a classy place for a special dinner.

The room was decorated tastefully. The cherry blossom tree was a nice centerpiece. The server was very attentive and sent a complimentary dessert for my wife's birthday. The sushi was good but wasn't earth shattering. I liked the presentation of the pork belly dish. The miso cod was excellent and my wife is a tough customer so that's saying a lot. So was the edamame. Our only complaint was the floor of the entire restaurant felt greasy and we had to walk like penguins so we wouldn't slip and fall. That's it.

Our server was fabulous, the food was amazing, the smoky pineapple drink was fun, my birthday dinner was wonderful.
We were seated all the way in the back where it seemed like it would have a little privacy and it did but the music speaker was right above our heads in what was an already loud scene. We basically had to shout to be heard across the table. BUT the food and service was amazing and we'd return in a heartbeat.

Yowza - the food here is delicious. We ordered way too many plates for our party of 4 but each bite was scrumptious and we somehow managed to eat everything. The staff are incredible and the vibe is swanky and sexy. Highly recommend.
