Javelina Indigenous Dining Reviews
The Elk frybread is amazing. Looking forward to come here again.
Javelina has become my favorite restaurant in Portland. I've gone a few times for lunch and loved everything I've tried. Finally went there for dinner earlier this evening and enjoyed the best steak I've had in years, definitely the best in town. Excellent food, tremendous service. Five stars!!
Absolutely delicious, from the cocktails to the seasonal salad, bison meatballs in huckleberry bbq sauce. The terrifying to my 8 year old self rattlesnake-rabbit sausage filled poblano was delicious with only a little bite. Service was excellent, and fry bread delicious - but the pillowy soft melt in your mouth blue cornbread is a must. Cant say enough about this treasure, except that I will be back often. Thank you!

The restaurant is a go‑to spot for delicious indigenous food and tasty beverages. The menu is incredible and robust, chips and dip, elk burger, prickly pear lemonade, elk fry bread, wheatberry salad, blue cornbread, B.B.L.T., and seared elk tacos. The tea selection is worth stopping for. Service is excellent and share the story the business. The experience is superb, great. Highly recommend the elk fry bread and the B.B.L.T.
