We sat at the counter which was cool watching everyone cook! The food was amazing, even though it seemed a little expensive it was a great value because the portions were big and filling. Probably the best martini ever. The steak was tender and flavorful and I was glad to get the ssam on the side for all the accompaniment. Save room for desert too!

I don't eat beef and told the waitress when we sat down. They brought over dumplings in two bowls and said one was vegetarian and one was pork. Me My husband and I clarified twice whether the meat dumplings were pork only or pork and beef, and the waitress again confirmed they were pork only. Come to find out from our original waitress that the dumplings had beef. Although she was apologetic, my meal was pretty much ruined. She was so flustered and all over the place, it made everything worse. Even before the miscommunication, her attitude was very dismissive. Overall, an overpriced and mediocre experience.

Despite the descriptions of the food, we were searching for seasoning. Banchan at that price point w so little taste should be illegal. Trading the luxury appearance for flavor is the death of food. There were some ups but unfortunately, the first 3 courses were so underwhelming we had a hard time being convinced the rest redeemed it. Would we go again? Short answer is no. As a lover of Korean food, I was so disappointed.
