The place is ok. It's kinda of depressing in there. It used to be busy years ago, but it's dead now.

The best chicken, Caesar salad, I've had I try and go back twice a week. It's fabulous.

Excellent quality Ceasar salad, I only wish the croutons were home made, but a really tasty salad, homemade dressing and the chicken was good quality, live they toss the the dressing for you. And as ALWAYS service is friendly ?Don't forget to squeeze the lemon patrons! Thanks Jolly Crew

By far, my favorite dive bar in Portland. Amazing bartenders who care about you. The owners are phenomenal and visit their business the check in on things often while assisting their employees as they want to be involved. It's a place to meet friends or bring friends and enjoy your time. They have a good menu and specials that change depending on what's happening. Never thought I would say that I love a meatloaf sandwich. But they also have brisket tacos, amazing spicy chicken sandwiches, and pretty much anything you could want. Additionally, it's dog friendly. They have a patio on the front for people to hang out, chit chat, and relax. They don't have outside heaters but if you're here, you are already warm from the warmth of the people you meet. You can banter and have open conversations with those around you and maybe learn a thing or teach something. Street parking but the area has a lot of side streets with open parallel parking.

Great service at the Jolly Roger, staff is very attentive. The cook at the jolly Roger is unmistakably the best burger maker this side of the Willamette River. Nice cozy establishment, everyone's real friendly and easy to talk to. Also a great music selection on the jukebox. Easy to get into easy to get out of. The owners are great and usually on site to chat with, be careful because once you go into the Jolly Roger you will not want to leave.

the local hangout & neighborhood eyesore of the trailer, smelly garbage & noisey bottle dumps. A collection of regulars who seem to have nothing better to do than gossip and insert their noses in other people business. The sliders are good, the 8.50 hamburger i ordered online and was charged 11$ for by the bartender ( i assume they decided to include themselves a tip?)tasted worst than mcdonalds.... the tatertots are delish though! That and one of the owners asked me what i was good for if i didnt put out...Ill happily go down the street to McMinns!

mediocre food, strange collection of regulars who basically live there and think this is THEIR neighborhood to dominate.terrible street view with all their garbage out front.

Trashy front of bar, oddly gosipy regulars like a junior high locker room. The food has been both good and disgusting at different times. Was overcharged 2.50 for a disgusting burger I couldnt eat. Male owner propositioned me then disrespected me for turning him down....all in front of several other customers. I wont go back there. McMinns is close and nicer, cleaner, no smokers, no crap out front as an eyesore. Also better food

So good! I think they've expanded the menu since I was here last. Service was fast and friendly. I had the Buffalo chicken salad and it was the best I've had. Good sauce on the chicken, fresh veggies, quality blue cheese dressing. This is a great local spot and the revamped menu has a lot of yummy stuff to offer!

Ground beef Nachos were tasty and plentiful. Bartender was attentive. Plenty of seating inside. Parking is on-street and relatively easy to find. Was told they are currently working on a patio behind the building, which explains the large, industrial trash container along the front of building. They also have outside seating that lines the sidewalk at front of building.Looking forward to going back after the patio is done and trash container is gone.
