All the staff are so great and it's just the best place to sit and have a drip coffee. 7:30-9:30am is my favorite time to go. Get the breakfast bagel!

Fun and quirky little neighborhood coffee shop. The front door says “BE THE CHANG”. There was live music - they had their groupies sitting right by the small stage singing along. Fun and interesting art on the walls. The coffee was really good. Alberta is a very enjoyable place to walk and people watch and eat. Definitely a worthwhile spot to visit
Dietary restrictions: They had some GF and vegan treats available. They buy them from other places so there’s no cross contamination.

I have never had a bad experience at Just Bob. I have lived in the area for the last 6 years and the level of service and food quality has not wavered, even through the pandemic. It is a gem and a wonderful place to bring friends, family or if you just need a cuppa by your self.

Good breakfast food with a fully loaded menu, including GF and vegan options, set in a smaller establishment with classic Alberta street flair.

Love this place. Very cozy, quirky, artsy, and very LGBT friendly. Food, drinks, and service are all great. Well worth a stop in. :)
Kid-friendliness: There is a small kids area in the back with toys. They are sanitized.

Truly the heart of Alberta. This place has charm, great food and a sense of community like I’ve never seen before. Each and every individual that works here is so wonderful - don’t skip it! See how many unicorns you can find!

On my way to the airport to catch a flight, I had a few extra minutes and the need for coffee. I searched for local places that were open early Saturday morning as I was unwilling to accept the airport prices or options. Just Bob ticked those boxes and beyond. First the latte was well-priced and delicious and the ambiance was whimsical and eclectic reminiscent of local hang outs I frequented years ago that offered coffee, art, conversation, and community. Will save as a must visit when I’m back in Portland.

coffee was good, it's nice to finally find cold brew that's not on the Portland trend of being really sour, also they've got a decent amount of outdoor seating which is nice (can't speak to the service bc my partner went in for both of us but I don't remember any complaints)

This was my go to coffee shop while in college just down the road from here. I always make a visit each time I am back in Portland. This place is very nostalgic for me. Top tier vibes. A ton of personality has been put into this place.

I love this spot! As someone who has been coming here for nearly a decade I can say it’s a staple for this neighborhood. While all the other coffee shops on Alberta get bought up, I’m sticking with bobs.

It's a restaurant, disguised as a coffee shop so if you just order a coffee there, they are not happy. Hey owners, just required everyone has to order foods with coffee, up front, then everyone knows your expectations. Not that typical passive aggressive attitude. The owner is a very rude dude! You better order a lots of food...he won't be happy and shows his mean and rudeness if you just order like a cup of coffee or tea. Won't come there again.

Breakfast sandwiches here do not disappoint. Friendly spot that does a lot of things well.
Honestly, pretty bad coffee
You must know this much: this establishment has a hand-drawn sign at the register, which REGULATES YOUR SPEECH. That's right! You may NOT say "sir" or "ma'am" in this Painfully Outlandishly Overly Political café. Egads! Such ATTITUDE!
