I’m in Portland often on business from San Francisco. No less than 5 stars here on quality, creativity and vibe. The chef does some amazing preparations of nigiri. Ask for your favorites and then let them prepare the rest for you. You will not be disappointed!

We had an great dinner at Kaizen. There were four of us and we tried about 10-12 different dishes, two sake flights, and cocktails. Everything was fabulous and probably the best sushi we’ve had in Portland. We especially liked the sunshine, kaizen, and albacore rolls and the hamachi carpaccio and ceviche.
Also, our server Josie was amazing. She steered us in the right direction and had the perfect mix of checking in and leaving us be, plus a really pleasant demeanor.

It is very delicious, very good and creative food , great view, highly professional servers, super clean. Kinda of small portions though and for the prices, I don't think so. If it was cheaper, I would most definitely order more than 3 places to try as much as I can so prices untilmatedly limits you hance not letting this great place reach 5 stars 😔
