I thought I was indifferent to curry. I was wrong.

This place is the most amazing Japanese curry I've ever eaten. The Doria is my favorite. I have been in their shop three times and the owner and staff are so nice and the atmosphere is great.

I order on postmates often (twice this week). My only complaint is that I wish they'd sell the ice cream via delivery too as well as their other tasty drinks.

This is the best Japanese curry on the west coast. The owner is extremely polite and kind. He always shares such interesting information about Japan, curry, and anything else you talk to him about!

I picked a lunch spot on a total whim after flying in from Texas, then inadvertantly discovered the best comfort karē outside of Japan. Absolutely incredible, rich flavors that speak for themselves. Nothing is hidden or muddled; the recipe is full bodied, served insanely quick, and with the hospitality of an old friend you haven't seen in years (big shoutout to one-man army Mr. Makoto Yoshino).
