Food was absolutely delicious. Had miso Ramen, gyoza and 3 types of tacos and they were all absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great environment and one of my favorite Ramen spots in Oregon.

BEST VEGAN Ramen ANYWHERE!!I lived in Southern California where LA & San Diego is known for their superior ramen restaurants. (I mentioned this to the owner of this place and he agreed). I’ve been to the “best” ramen places around California and Oregon. This ramen is the BEST I’ve ever had. Hands-down.If you are a vegan, the Tan Tan is just amazing.
This is one of my top 3 favorite Ramen spots in Portland. Everything is always fresh and the service is quick.I usually get the Mala Ramen spicy. I’m glad that when you ask for it spicy it truly is the level you’re looking for. I love spicy food though so if you think it’s going to be mild - it’s not. Extra spicy is too much for me but if you’re not feeling well and need to clear your sinuses then it’s perfect. Also the half and half gluten and non gluten noodles are the way to go.I used to live in the neighborhood and it’s a cute little area of town. Parking can be somewhat hard to find but it’s worth it! If you have a larger party everyone has to be there in order to get sat, (I usually go alone).I definitely recommend this place! It’s great for if you’re traveling to Portland on vacation and looking for a yummy place to chill and eat.

Some of the best vegan ramen options in the city. Pretty much every option has a vegan version. I've eaten here many times and the last time I went to finally tried the tacos (weird menu option!) but they are bomb!
Interesting ramen-adjacent options. Ordered the dipping noodles, tasted good but a little pricey for what you get in my opinion.

Let me start by saying that I adore Kayos, we went often pre-child, and it was our go-to place for out-of-town guests. But some things had changed since we had last been in. Namely, their curry ramen is no longer on the menu. The curry ramen was one of the best things I’d ever tasted and served as a comfort through COVID and other hard days. Additionally, the staff was friendly-ish, but not like they’ve been during other visits (usually the service is top-notch). Lastly, I was freezing inside beneath the ceiling fan and the front door being left open. Maybe it was an off night. But I am heartbroken about the curry (they’ve also removed a few other yummy items from the menu). Please bring it back!

Some of the best ramen I’ve had. Shoyu is a very delicious and not spicy. Miso is also very good. It’s a little spicy and has a yellow soy bean taste. The guy at the counter was very friend. We also like the sliced cucumber.

The staff here is super sweet, drinks are good, but the food not so much. I got the ramen and the both wasn’t really good and the noodles were super slimy. The pork overall is good though!

Well dang it! Just when I thought I had my ramen hierarchy figured out! Now I have to completely rejigger the results of several years worth of research. Kayo's is amazing!!! I'm not normally a tofu fan, but the tofu in the cold noodle dish, Chili Garlic Noodles blew me away! And my dish of Snow Ramen just outta this world.
Food was good. The leftovers were even better. A little pricey for me though.
