This Kell's location was a decent place to grab a drink while killing time for an event nearby. My cocktail was only okay, but service was quick.

Took my daughter out for her 21st birthday last night and this bar was one of our stops and our FAVORITE of the night. The service was fast & friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and they went above and beyond to make her feel special. 10/10 recommend 👌 👏

Visited with friends prior to a concert at Providence park. Mid-week, around 5pm. The atmosphere is great, and on theme. The food, however...

Ordered the pub pretzels and cheese, and the lamb stew. The pretzels were decent, but the "cheese" lacked flavor and texture. It seemed more like the cheese ran out, and someone added water to stretch it. Bland, and runny.

Same with the lamb stew. Should've been called "mushy veggie soup with rosemary and bland meat." Literally no texture or nice mouth-feel to the soup. Watery. The meat tasted like it was braised in water, and added to the mush-veggie water upon serving. Almost seemed cold. I've had amazing lamb stew at other establishments, and this was so far from familiar, or good.
Not sure if our visit was a fluke, but I definitely wouldn't recommend. I expected more from an Irish pub with a decent reputation.

Even the beer I had ordered tasted like dirty dish water or unclean tap lines, and it was flat.

Disappointed. Dissatisfied.

Great food, staff, and irish pub experience. Prices were higher than other pubs I've been to, but they fill your plate. The staff was super nice. The draft beer is probably a bit more expensive than it's worth, but is still a really good selection

Parking: There is sometimes available street parking, free after 7 on weekdays. There is a paid parking lot down the street.

Great Irish Pub. Live music, perfect pint of Guinness, and the best curry chips.

3 stars because they have good beer, but you have to beg for and wait an unreasonably long time for service. Also, McMenamin’s has as good if not better beer, and pool tables, and more attentive service

My family and I stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and the food was delicious! The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were on a family vacation and they made it very memorable. We will definitely go back next time we visit Portland!
