Ken’s Artisan Bakery is just amazing the smell hits you the second you walk in and you know you’re in the right place. The croissants? Flaky buttery perfection. Got a latte too and it was smooth and strong just how I like it. It can get busy especially in the morning but it’s totally worth the wait. Grab a seat if you can and just chill everything feels cozy and real. Honestly I’d come back every day if I lived closer

Solid bakery albeit a little pricey. Workers didn’t seem to care that non-service animals were let inside which is a food safety issue. If that food safety rule isn’t being enforced, what other regulations aren’t being enforced?
Always a favorite spot. Some of the best bread around.

Love this place - croissants are the best! Try the gorgeous lemon tart with an oat milk chai - mmmm.
Tip: the line is long, so try the annex two doors down for most of the same menu.

Omg!!! Mouthwatering and Delicious!!! As soon as I walked in and saw the pastries, I wanted them ALL. This was my first time going to kens and I will absolutely be back. The Lemon Meringue Tart was Beautiful and my daughter loved choosing the flower that was on top. The taste blew me away. Not to sweet or tart, the crust was everything I've ever wanted crust to taste like, but I had never been able to find or make. I should have bought 10! The mini carrot cake was light and airy, frosting was rich but not overpowering ( you could eat 5 mini carrot cakes ans not feel sick) and it had the perfect carrot cake taste! It had to tiny candy carrots as a garnish which my 4 year old loved. The cherry tart in my picture I did not try but was told it did not disappoint! The people here are so friendly and kind(patient when you can't make up your mind). I highly recommend Kens Artisan Bakery!!!!

The chocolate croissant was spot on. The mini-palmiers were crunchy and hard. It was like the sugar had solidified into a too-solid candy coating that was actually hard to bite through. No delectable pastry flakiness remained. 😟
But they do croissants right. And service was super-friendly! 🙂

Loved the food! It was really busy around 8:30am though. Couldn’t find any seating.

We stop here whenever we drive through Portland. Pastries, bread or sandwiches are all just the best treats! Had the Oregon croissant today- blackberries in flaky buttery deliciousness. You can not go wrong trying anything here.

My husband ordered the passion fruit tart and a salted caramel macaroon. He said they were delicious! I ordered an oat milk latte that was wonderful.
A truly wonderful bakery!
We had the almond croissants and a special Danish pastry with blueberries and another with strawberries – everything was absolutely delicious. For my return flight, I picked up a bacon quiche, which turned out to be excellent as well. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in Portland!
