#1 North Portland bar now has the best dinner in Kenton!! What a combo, cool dive bar with great live music, pool table, giant patio… AND great food brought to your table by the chef himself. Kenton club has been the go-to for a long time, check the cool woodwork from the 40s. Heads up- the chef is there Wednesday thru Sunday and he’s tipped separately from the bar so if you like the food, consider having a cash tip on hand.
Came by on a saturday morning for brunch. There were spooky movies playing on the Tv and a fun halloween ambiance, the thing that stole the show was the food though, had the savory pancake and it was bigger than the plate with 3 meats i could only eat about half before getting full. I brought some home to my family and ended up eating more.. the chicken strips are also popping there was this delicious spicy tangy bbq sauce that i just about drank. We got the potstickers, poppers, and a BLT with onion rings, and all the food was really good.
The ranch was kind of watery, which was no fun, but everything else was fantastic and the bartender and server were really friendly!
Will definitely go back anytime I am in the area.
