This bar closed because of the pandemic. Locals know the owners, very well, because they've been part of the entertainment world here forever. They've always provided a safe space for ALL, and we will miss them, greatly, since the landlord now rents to someone else. People complaining (in the service industry in general) fail to own up to their own shortcomings when out in public. The negative reviews below all tell the same story of someone's outrageous behavior not getting them the service they demanded. Guess what? Portland is geographically small, and the original population is around 700,000 people. 2 million people later (and after the worst gentrification that hit our restaurant / bar scene after 2008), and people think they can insult people and places like it's no big deal. Food and beverages, music and events, this bar will be missed by so many people who continue to keep this city safe, not just exploit it, financially, and then leave.

$5 cover to watch people pretend to dance on stage, meh. Kind of a goofy vibe the night I went. Workers but the doorman gave me apathetic vibes. I wasn't sure what was going on, I guess it was just a DJ dance party. Lots of sloppy dancing.

All vegan menu, queer security staff, gender neutral bathrooms, great cocktails and a chill a** vibe/atmosphere. Lively dance nights on the weekends, good sound system and live shows. This place offers a lot! It's not in an area that is very lively or has many other bars but that can be a plus for some people. Because of all this, I love this space!!

The sweet, vegan chicken and waffles is my favorite vegan thing in all of town..... I’ll eat it every time... wish I could eat it right now...I can almost never eat a while meal and I won’t even share this one!!! Mmmm.
