Five stars mostly for the accomodations. I really like the kale option for noodles, especially for someone who needs to go low carb.
--- appetizer ---
Tuna onigiri ⭐⭐⭐
- wish there was more tuna
- wasn't fishy though so the fish was really fresh
Potato croquette ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
- really good texture and flavor
- creamy and crunchy
Karage ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
- a good default app
- too expensive for 6 pieces of karage
- not super crispy
--- ramen ---
All star ramen ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- liked the broth, was interesting with a kick
Spicy tan tan ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
- not spicy at all
- loved this with an egg and greens

The food here is absolutely amazing from the first to the last bite! I especially loved the rice bowl. The staff is super friendly, and our waiter was very accommodating to my preference for non-spicy food. I had the shoyu ramen, and it was delicious!

Kizuki has been my favorite ramen shop since I've moved here. I've been to many places and I haven't found a place as good as Kizuki. The Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen is their top seller for a good reason. It has gotten a little spendier, now up to $17, but it's worth it for sure and I definitely recommend. I sometimes order the curry, but they don't put in any veggies so honestly I'm a little disappointed and wouldn't recommend- stick to the ramen for sure. Recently we've been having Jason as our server each time we go and he's been killing it so the service is great.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t understand why this place has such high ratings. It felt like it might be run by Japanese people, or maybe it’s just a cheap imitation—I couldn’t tell. The service was the worst, and as for the food, the ramen noodles were the only decent part; the broth tasted like seawater. They offer a “less salt” option, but anyone who’s had ramen in Japan would know that the so-called “less salt” version is actually the original. They brought me a cup of water with bubbles in it, and while I was eating, they started spraying disinfectant on the table right next to me—I nearly gagged. And then there’s the staff awkwardly saying “Irasshaimase” in Japanese that was so bad it sounded like they need retraining. Honestly, they’d be better off not using Japanese at all. Their random, butchered pronunciation was really unpleasant to hear.To think I had to pay such an expensive price to eat food served in cracked bowls… I never want to come back here again.I just want to find a proper Japanese ramen restaurant…

This is absolutely delicious food(!) but I don’t understand these positive reviews for the heavy duty packaging? It’s definitely beautiful, but it’s all landfill and not recyclable. Please correct me if I’m wrong—and I’d love to be because I want to get more delicious food from here again without feeling bad about the mass of stuff I immediately throw away.
Always a pleasure coming to this ramen shop! I really love the yuzu, and my girlfriend loves the shoyu. Also the folklore art is super interesting to look at.
