This place is so great! Mom and Pop owned and amazing food! The sushi was super fresh. Can't wait to go back.
This restaurant has the best sushi in town the owners have phenomenal hospitality and they remember who you are when you come in like I said best sushi in town
Pick up order through Grub Hub was ready super fast and absolutely delicious. Excited to have such stellar sushi within a few minutes of home. Especially loved the seared bluefin nigiri, the prince roll, and perfectly crispy sesame balls. Highly recommend!
V&A Sushi is owned and operated by a charming couple, it is named for their children. We have been eating their delightfully prepared, always fresh sushi, yakisoba and other Japanese treats for years, since before the pandemic. We order takeout regularly from them and when we dine in they are exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere is great. We never get sushi anywhere else now, you can pay three times the price in a boutique restaurant for substandard food and rude service but not us, in 25 years living in Portland this is by far our favorite ever sushi restaurant.
If we could rate them ten stars, we would.!

Service wasn't bad, but staff looked bored but maybe because it was early. Food was middle of the road, expected a little better. Strip mall sushi with little atmosphere, but conveniently across from my school.
Sushi across from the college, conveniently located - food is okay, nothing exciting and atmosphere is friendly.
Hands down best sushi in SE!
V&A has some of the best sushi in town. Period. The fish is really fresh and Tim the owner makes fantastic rolls. His wonderful wife creates authentic Japanese hot food on the kitchen and I feel just like Iโm in Japan. Their ikura, toro, and hamachi are ๐. And the nicest owners. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is sparse but warm.
Best sushi in town. Skip the high priced places that care more about ambience than actual food. Owners are always kind and truly know the technique.

Kind of an unassuming place from the outside, but really, really good fish on the inside. We went around 3:00-ish, we were the only guests there. I got salmon nigiri, red snapper nigiri, and the Super Tuna roll as well as some hot tea. The fish was amazing in texture, taste, and freshness. It's a bit more in price than a conveyor belt place, but the pieces of fish are a good cut and better quality than other places. If you love raw fish sushi, this is a perfect place. My partner got an asparagus roll and beef yakisoba and said it was delicious. Give it a try!

We were one of two tables in the place around 7pm. Our food took almost an hour to come out to us, our miso soup was delivered after our sushi and all of it tasted sub par at best.

Great little place. The food was delicious and the price is amazing for the amount you get. Freshest calamari I've had on a long time.
