It's a bummer to see this place closed. My favorite part about this location was seeing Mike's smiling face. He is the face of this place and was often working alone without any help. I hope it reopens because i'll miss getting my smoothies from Mike.

Door was locked lights off at 11am with someone inside refusing to make eye contact with a sign on the door that read: crew is on a break and will be back soon. If the employee was a trainer why are they in the store alone? Or do all the employees take their breaks at the same time? Just not sure why this is the only location that has this issue?

I went to Kure Superfood on two separate days, and was happy both times! Staff is very friendly, and personable. Fresh ingredients and taste! Really great spot for on the go.

Love Kure Foods, but weird experience at this location today.Parked just down from the store, noticed lights were off but open sign was on. Sat in my car for a bit finishing a phone call, then walked to the store. There was a sign up saying employee was on break. So I figured I just hang out until it reopened since I wasn't in a rush and it was just a break. Plus I'd already noticed they had the sign up the whole time I was in my car anyway...couldn't be too long.A few mins pass, worker comes up to the door and says he's on break. I said that's fine, how long? He said thirty minutes or so ... I said okay and walked back to my car. As I walked back running the math, I'm impressed that 2 hours after opening they already had the one employee there on an hour long break making himself food... surely they don't keep the store closed for such lengths of time. Felt more like I was intruding on someone than anything else. So went elsewhere for this visit.I've always had good service before, so this was a let down.

Their oatmeal with apples is likely the best oatmeal I’ve ever tasted at any restaurant, ever. Warm, comforting, wholesome and delicious! I also love the açaí bowls. Flavors, freshness and textures (important) are impeccable!

Gentlemen working the counter in army Crocs was super friendly and awesome. It seems rare these days in Portland to have genuine banter but he made the day brighter. Bowl of the gods is definitely my favorite acai bowl in Portland.

Watched the worker go from the register and prepare food with his bare hands. He noticed the disgust on my face and went "I washed my hands." Just a note, he's chopping up fruit with no gloves and I did not once see him wash his hands. This is a foodborne illness waiting to happen. Will never eat here again.

Easy place to pop in and get something quick. The Avocado Smashed Toast was just right for a little something to eat. The music was very nice like trancy electronica, it was a perfect escape from the easy listening in the office.

Mike & Tucker are absolute stars, always in good mood with smile awesome music playing, making amazing smoothies, jucies and bowls - well composed, properly made and reasonably priced. This place is everything you need for your quick food in a busy corporate world. Take it from someone who attends almost daily.

Food was not fresh. Also saw bugs,
I understand how Kure is a small, local business, but I think they’re ridiculously expensive and looking for ways to scam you. I went to order a protein smoothie, and upon asking, learned that the protein smoothie only had 1teaspoon of protein, and if I wanted a full scoop, I had to pay extra ($3). Who advertises a protein smoothie but cheats the serving size amount to 1 teaspoon? Most serving sizes on protein powders is 1 scoop. That’s a dishonest way to advertise and such a cheap way to run a business. Totally disappointed!
