It was the 1st & last time we'll visit. I have many allergies, therefore I asked for nothing with cilantro on my plate. I got 3 asada tacos with meat and chunks of raw onion. Nothing else. Yet, I saw the server sit to eat a couple of booths away. I see her spoon and avocado onto her taco. Wow! Just wow! Mine were dry, no lime or anything added. Too bad our friend's restaurant was closed. It's inside Fopo Tavern on 59th Foster. I love the caramelized onions as a side for their Tacos and Quesatacos. But, alas they were closed. We should have gone to my other friend's restaurant. La Herradura in Gresham. Main st and Division. Great Menudo and on Sat and Sun they make fresh thick corn tortillas. So yummy with Alma's beans (not vegan).

This really sucks because we love the food here but we will never be back here. Last time, the garbages were overflowing and it was so dirty. This is unacceptable, especially if you have to bus your own table and there is no clean space to do so.
Today we came in and there are flies all over the walls. Swarming our faces and food as we ate. This is absolutely disgusting. It’s winter and this shouldn’t be such a huge issue here. Me and my family almost had a panic attack having to swap flies out of our faces the entire time we ate.
Do better. You can expect people to eat with flies and filth

Absolutely fantastic experience! This Mexican restaurant delivers authenticity, flavor, and atmosphere in a way that makes every meal memorable. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with vibrant decor and warm, friendly service that immediately sets the tone.
The menu has a wide variety of traditional dishes, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The guacamole was made to order, and the flavors were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and lime. I ordered the carne asada tacos, which were tender and packed with bold flavors, while my friend had the enchiladas verdes, and they were equally impressive—rich, savory, and topped with a generous helping of creamy green sauce.
Their margaritas are the perfect accompaniment, expertly mixed and not overly sweet. And for dessert, the churros are a must—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and dusted with cinnamon sugar.
Overall, this place goes above and beyond in terms of both quality and service. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every single detail is so well thought out. Whether you’re here for a casual dinner or a celebration, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

The queen and I love this jewel in SE Portland. The food is flavorful and, as others have noted, the portions are generous. The queen always gets the fish tacos. The option for grilled or fried is very nice. My go to are the enchiladas. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

Love the food here. We had a carnitas burrito and a suadero burrito. Both burritos were delicious and very generously sized. Rounded out dinner with chips guacamole and pico de gallo. Guacamole was outstanding as were the chips and pico. $30 all in for an ample dinner for 2 with leftovers!

One of the best pollo burritos I’ve discovered in town and I’ve lived here for almost a year! Love the salsa selection too.
