We planned our wedding from across the country so we were not able to do a taste test prior to the wedding but it didn't even matter because the cake was phenomenal!! Jutta was amazing to work with!! We made an Appt. to visit with her and try some different cake samples. It ended up being one of our favorite aspects of wedding planning. Her cakes are all real ingredients and absolutely exquisite. She was fun and easy and professional to work with, and took the time to really accommodate our requests. She's a joy and so talented. Jutta dropped off our cake in Hood River in a timely fashion and it was in perfect condition. I'd absolutely recommend!

My first time requesting a cake for a special occasion and I was not disappointed. Armen Zadoorian was very welcoming and demonstrated good customer service to everyone. I needed a 3d type tooth cake for a congratulations/celebration party. The request process was quick and simple as they sat down with me and I discussed with them about how I wanted the cake to be. I did a little bit of shopping around before going and found out that other places were charging a bit more for the same request so I feel like the price for the cake was decent. The finished cake looked very nice and tasted good also. I had gotten red velvet cake with cream cheese layers in-between. Will definitely consider them again in the future.

Jutta and La Jaconde were absolutely incredible. From the initial tasting - which she graciously reaccommodated for us when I was feeling ill - to our wedding day when she found us a different cake stand more suitable to our vibe, Jutta stood out as professional and helpful. The cake was by FAR the best we tasted, and at a very reasonable price. We did four crazy unique flavors which our guests raved about, and we couldn't stop eating. We just arrived back from our honeymoon and ate a piece we froze - its still the most moist cake I've ever eaten, even after freezing. We couldn't be happier with our decision to trust Jutta and La Jaconde with our cake :)

Wow! Can't say enough great things about La Joconde! Jutta Bach is a master creator of wedding cakes and the one she designed for our wedding was phenomenal! Working with Jutta was a pleasure from start to finish. We contacted her with ideas we had for our cake, and for the tasting she provided not only the 2 or 3 cake and frosting combinations with thought of but half a dozen others. I highly recommend the honey and Earl Gray Tea frosting with white cake, which we decided to make the top tier of our cake. The cake arrived right on time for the ceremony and was everything we had hoped for. The ceremony attendees loved it. I highly recommend La Joconde if you're looking for something truly special for your wedding. The flavors Jutta comes up with are original and unique, employing ingredients in combinations that are both unexpected and surprising. Thanks, again, Jutta!
I bought a wedding cake from here. My fiance and I went and did cake tasting prior to ordering the cake. All of them were delicious so we ended up ordering an earl grey and a red velvet cake. We paid $300 for a two-tier cake and picked it up the day of the wedding. The owner was super sweet, listened to us and overall had great customer service. The cake was all white with the draping and we wanted real flowers so the owner had let us know that we would have to purchase them ourselves and put them on the cake the day of, which was fine. I was under the impression that she would provide the "Mr & Mrs" cake topper, however, when the cake was picked up, she said that it was something we had to buy on our own. So we had no topper and had to improvise. We brought the cake home and put it in the fridge, as we were not going to eat it right away. When it was time to eat the cake, both the flavors were VERY dry and stale as if the cake was completed days prior. Also, there was supposed to be enough room between the tiers so that we can add flowers to it and there really wasn't. Even though the design of the cake was pretty, the actual quality of it was very disappointing.

It was a wonderful experience, very professional. Jutta gives you total control over how you want your cake. The flavors were off the charts. We had four different flavors on a five tiered cake. So to say the least the whole cake got eaten. I'm already looking forward to an anniversary cake!! You will love her work!♥ï¸

Jutta was a pleasure to work with. At the tasting, she offered an extensive variety, and my fiancé, friend, and I enjoyed many flavors quiet a lot. It was actually a bit hard to choose. The cake itself was beautiful and tasted great as well. We had some specifications due to food allergies, and Jutta was able to accommodate, which was great. All elements shown are edible and out of buttercream (with exception to the real flowers). Jutta delivered the cake on schedule and independently coordinated with our florist to get the color and design of the flowers right. The whole experience was a breeze.

I found La Jaconde here on YELP and decided to have them do a 50th Birthday cake for my husbands BDAY party. I sent a picture of the cake I wanted (from Pinterest!) and asked if Jutta could replicate it! Well, THE CAKE WAS ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON PERFECT AND THE HIT OF THE PARTY!!!!! I NEVER went in for a tasting and just trusted Jutta with the flavors she suggested for it!! SHE IS A CAKE MASTER!! SHE WAS SOO EASY to work with and was VERY accommodating! She even delivered the cake to the restaurant the day of our party!! I will use this bakery for EVERY special event I have from now on!! I wish I could post a picture of the cake....it was a white coffin with a little hand hanging out the side and on the top it read "HERE LIES SCOTT'S YOUTH R.I.P. HAPPY 50th" it was FANTASTIC!! You WILL NOT be disappointed if you choose La Jaconde to do your cake!! It was also DEEE-LICIOUS!!
