This place is amazingly good, and maybe the friendliest staff I've ever come across. Here for a short trip, but I've already gone 3 times and will be back again before I leave!

Great service, well-priced, and the tacos never fail to disappoint. I would HIGHLY recommend either the machaca or carnitas street tacos. The sides of beans and rice are very nice and flavorful as well. Arguably best food cart in Portland.

Dang good Horchata,
The burrito was alotta
I’ll keep hitting La Piñata
Vegetarian options: The fajita burrito doesn’t skimp on the veggies and comes in a tasty tortilla… Kinda wished they had more veggie options on the menu, but it was a quarter past 1 am and for what it is it’s pretty tasty.

La Piñatas Takos or “Tacos with a K” like my GF loves to call it, has been a weekly staple of my burrito cravings. It’s a solid place with great service and the burritos are huge! I recommend my favorite the Al Pastor. My girl gets the Machaca (shredded) and it’s also delicious.
Loyal fan of Takos with a K!

Took a walk in the rain today with the hubby and stopped by a food truck we had never tried before! La Pinata Takos makes some great street tacos! I had their shrimp taco, and it really hit the spot. The shrimp was delicious --- not too shrimpy and balanced well with the chipotle sauce they put on it. There were the perfect amounts of cilantro, onion, guacamole, lettuce, and cheese. I also really enjoyed the sauce they gave me on the side! (Please excuse my already squeezed lime. ?)My husband ordered their American taco and said he quite enjoyed it as well! He especially liked how they charred their meat all the way through. The woman running the window was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. Our food was out quickly, but in enough time that you could tell love/preparation went into it. We will definitely be returning!

The helote was $7 and came with canned corn topped with a low quality grainy cheese. The horchata was $5 and was mix-in powder. About an inch of powder is sitting in the bottom so I can’t even use a straw. We got two burritos which weren’t labeled so I had to open my roommates burrito… turns out I gave him the wrong one. His burrito order was correct and mine was not. Just a huge waste of money and time. Go elsewhere
