Came here today, jollof rice was tasteless, they serve you 1 piece of meat. The food also seemed like it was made days ago and reheated…
The cook was also the hostess, bartender and server. Service was very slow but she was kind and welcoming. I support small businesses, but I would not recommend this one.

Fantastic, flavorful and welcoming
Seems like a new location. Stopped in during the day on a work trip. It's mainly a bar/nightclub setting but the food seems to be authentic African dishes. Also has a great island reggae/ afrobeat vibe and decor. Cool artwork painted onto the walls. Ordered the goat pepper soup. Get ready for your nostrils to open up if you're not used to spice. Kept eating despite the heat. Flavor was great.

Visited Lagos PDX for the first time to get some food, we came in just after 5 pm for Happy hour which typically happens between 3 pm and 6 pm. We asked for the Happy Hour menu when we arrived and ordered the Aboki Suya, Naija Jollof Rice and a side of Plantain. We ordered a couple of $5 drinks at the bar and went to order food (again all of this is off of the $5 happy hour menu). We let them know that we were ready to order and they sent the bartender out to take our order which is not the usual person that is supposed to take our order. Long story short the bartender was amazing and made us great drinks. We decided our food and ate, when the time came to pay we were given a check that was way over what we expected to pay because again we ordered off of the $5 happy hour menu. We were told sorry that we would have to pay the price for the food we were given because that was not the happy hour food portion we were given. There clearly was miscommunication with whoever made our food and in the end it was a mistake on the restaurants part so they should not require us to pay for their mistake. The manager was not present but when she was called on the phone she basically disregarded the situation as there was clear miscommunication with the staff. A lot of them seem new and even when speaking to another staff member she said that she was new and didn’t know. At the end of the day as an establishment the manager should have not had a back and forth for this mistake that happened and allowed us to pay what was clearly stated on the $5 happy hour menu. This situation had put a bad taste in my mouth.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The food does not taste good or authentic. BEWARE. If you are coming for happy hour they will advertise $5 prices and then charge you full prices for the food when it's time to pay and then the lady will try to gaslight and then try to charge you full price even though you didn't ask for a full menu. I understand it's a new establishment but they need to get it together the service from the owner was terrible I will never come back. Shame on the owner for threatening to take the money from the full price item minus the happy hour item out of the servers check!! How about you support your workers !

Lagos just recently opened in a space that has been vacant a while. We stumbled across it during Pride, and their happy hour (3 - 6 PM) must offer some of the best value in the city in 2025. Delicious $5 drinks and while we didn’t try the food, what we saw coming out of the kitchen looked great. Our bartender Sweetness was so friendly and really made our day. We’ll be back.
Nice ambience and good Nigerian meal offerings. Friendly owners. Highly recommended.
