Oregon family recommended, and they nailed it! My lady and I split a Cuban and a Lardo fry with an Arnold palmer and a watermelon sour and....the sandwich was hot and delicious, drinks were cold, and a great outdoor sitting area outside ( we were able to catch a 80 and sunny day in Portland). Highly recommend if you are a fan of friendly service and great sandwiches!
Very tasty food.
My husband and I have been on a Pacific Northwest trip (primarily Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland) for over a week, and the Beer-ia Grilled Cheese at Lardo was the single greatest item of food we have eaten on our trip. It somehow maintained the integrity of what a grilled cheese is and should be while incorporating the beer and birria flavors perfectly. It was a work of art. I couldn’t leave the restaurant without immediately writing a five star review. Also delicious: the Korean Pork Shoulder sandwich, the Dirty Fries, and the Potato Salad. I would be a regular if we lived anywhere close.
Delicious craft sandwiches with an upbeat atmosphere - you can't go wrong. $5 happy hour beer pints are a great accessory to an already delicious menu!
My husband have been coming here for nearly 10 years whenever we pass through Portland to Washington. The food has been consistently delicious and quality everytime! It's become our final stop on the way home from long drives.
We hit Lardos almost everytime we're passing through Portland for the past 10 years now. The sandwiches are SO saturated with flavor. I'm all about the Korean Pork Belly; pulled pork with a spicy sauce and kimchi - it never disappoints. The beers on tap are always rich in local beer options. The atmosphere is super casual, music is always a feature and they have tons of outdoor seating. Staff has always been helpful and added to the experience. We're always glad we stopped 👍👍
Their sandwiches are soooo good! The service was super fast and the beer selection was impressive. The outdoor seating offers a very nice place to hang out on a nice day.
Amazing food!!
The Korean Pork Shoulder sandwich will change your life.
Delicious! Everything is well seasoned - on the peppery side (a plus for me!)
Husband got the cubano - mouth watering good.
I got the falafel smash burger (one of 2 vegetarian options, the other being a grilled cheese and tomato soup), which was great. Not dry at all, had a good crispy lace edge on the falafel.
Watermelon aqua fresca is super sweet, but perfect with the lime in it.
Will def be back!

I Ordered the Porchetta Sandwich and it was so Bare and Dry I could hardly Choke it down not enough Mayo, not enough Gremolata, not enough Arugula even the Meat was Dry it's Porkbelly how is that Possible? The Sando was just Sad and Disappointing also very Disrespectful to even call what I got a Porchetta Sandwich somebody's Nonna is probably rolling over in her Grave as I write this. I use to love Lardo & this was one of My Favorite Sandos by far! at this point I just want a Refund so terrible. I've been a Loyal customer since Lardo was a Food truck! Back when the owner himself would make and Sell the Glorious Sandwiches and I'm 100% Positive what I got was not his vision when he created the wonderful Sandwich menu teach those Line cooks to raise the Standard back to Greatness the Sandwiches are not cheap so at the very least make the Sandwiches they way you yourself would want to eat it you know like if you were making a Sandwiches for someone you care about what I got was like Prison food that I had to pay way too much for......
Hands down, one of my favorite sandwich shops. Amazing food, well worth the price. Even the kids burger is delicious. Everyone who's helped us is super friendly. Don't sleep on the dirty fries!
Delicious Cubano sandwich. Parmesan fries are outstanding and crispy. Loved the outdoor atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, outdoor dining space. No table service. Food was good, fresh, distinct and tasty - but wasn't great. Beers were delicious. Nice people. Would return for 'not Red Robin' fare.
The smoky Cubano was delicious, as were the Lardo fries. The patio was aesthetically pleasing
