Nice day sitting outside fir lunch. Can't go wrong with the Chefwich that rotates and I was lucky to get this modification of the Pho-rench dip on it's last day! Yum! Daughter got the Cubano and it was perfect with an amazing pickle! The fries were great but would have been off the charts with a garlic aioli. I can't say more about the Hush Puppies with honey butter. I'll be back just for those babies! It's walk up ordering and self bus, but everyone is very friendly and the place is super clean. Love me Lardo!

Definitely a foodie joint to me! It lived up to its reputation because each bite was delicious. and checkout the pics from outside---a legit hangout.

Fantastic sandwich spot for lunch or a casual dinner. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. We had the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken, the Cubano, potato salad and French fries. All were exceptional!

A good spot. Lardo is a cool spot in a safe feeling area of Portland. There is ample street and parking lot parking which I love. There is also really nice outdoor seating. I came here for lunch and was not disappointed. I got the Cuban and my partner got the chefwhich both were tender and flavorful. I do wish they had more of a collection of sauces. They only have a hot sauce and a ketchup available for people and I think a unique fry sauce or even a specialty sauce would really add to their flavor profile. The prices are moderate, especially for downtown Portland but it’s not a quick cheap eats place. Sandwiches are about $14 each (in 2024) and do not come with side—sides range from $6 to $12 and their drinks are also a little bit more on the expensive side ranging from $8 to $15. The margarita I had was delicious but pretty small considering it was $10. I love the vibe of this place. It’s not too loud. It’s not too crowded, even on a weekend. The food is reliable and solid. Expect to wait about 20 minutes for your food. This place is kid friendly and a great weekend spot.Kid-friendliness: A chill place that is good for kids

Sandwiches were delicious. Ordered the banhmi and chicken sandwich..bread was really crispy. Someone threw food in the street, where our car was parked outside, which we only knew when and the staff came up to us and said they were going to clean it up. It was such a kind thing to do.. forgot to ask for the name, but thank you to Lardo staff!

The grilled mortadella is one of the better sandwiches I've had. I keep meaning to try some of the other options on their menu but every time I go I get that sandwich anyway.
