I had high hopes for The Laughing Plant, but unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. The Buba Burrito was incredibly bland—no real flavor or seasoning, just very “meh.”
The chili had good flavor, but it was served at room temperature, which really took away from the experience. It would have been much better if it was hot.
The bowl looked great, with vibrant ingredients, but it was also lacking in flavor. For a place that seems to focus on fresh, plant-based food, I expected more seasoning or some sort of standout taste.
On the plus side, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was decent, but when the food isn’t enjoyable, it’s hard to justify coming back. Overall, it was a pretty forgettable meal. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they seriously improve the flavors.

we returned to laughing planet for lunch during the annual belmont st. fair yesterday...we shared a lager, i had the small veggie balck bean burrito and added guac/sour cream, and my partner had the harvest bowl....the food is excellent and the drink hit the spot...the staff is great...we sat outside and had some good r/r....

As the menu states, any entree that’s not already vegan can be made vegan! Well-seasoned food with a good variety of options. Easy on the wallet, too!

I got the vegan cesar salad and my partner got the vegan burrito. I was jealous of his burrito, as my salad was much smaller than I expected for a large size. While the salad was a bit underwhelming, I did really like the dressing. I will definitely be getting the burrito next time!
Waited roughly an hour for 1 burrito. Once I got it it had sharpie on the tortilla. Called back asking for a refund and they said they would let their manager know. Week passed and no word, reported it via costumer service email and still no response. Never coming back.

I have waited over 30 min for a small to go order. Clearly they are taking A LOT of outside orders and don't have enough people to keep up. The people entering for pick up are getting prioritized and when I called attention to how long I waited I was dismissed. After 30 min I still had 6 tickets ahead of me
Very disappointing consider I always have great experiences at LPs. Will think twice before coming back to this location. Need more people during the rush, and better customer service when you can see someone upset.

They outright refused to serve me due to my disability. I am Deaf. The server became very angry with my friend and I. We fearfully left the buisness. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The tween size burrito. Black beans, cheese and vegetables. Whole wheat tortilla. I asked for no rice. I have had this four times. The tea was lightly sweet. The medium sauce on side was hot. We have eaten at two of their restaurants after enjoying delivery at my son's house. Our pickier eaters like it too.
