Laughing Planet Cafe offers a fast/casual atmosphere, regularly rotates specials, & has vegan options clearly marked throughout their menu. However, the food is mediocre compared to options throughout our very fortunate city. I don't mind visiting, but never actively seek out this type of cuisine.

It's hours later and I'm still thinking about how wonderful my lunch was. ??Vegetarian options: My daughter is a vegetarian, she brought me here today, that's all she eats and she loves this place.Dietary restrictions: I've happily been eating healthier the last 3 years and this was a wonderful surprise to see a menu with a large selection of healthy and delicious choices.Parking: I do know this neighborhood so I am used to the parking situation and I am always prepared to walk at least two blocks.Kid-friendliness: There was four kids eating with their parents next to me, they were right at home and welcomed.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is at ground level so easily accessible for a wheelchair, the bathroom is also wheelchair accessible.

Kid-friendliness: They had toy dinos to play with pre-COVID. While they are no longer available, the kid friendly approach remains.
I always come here at least once when visiting Portland.
Their food has consistently been fresh, and delicious. Burritos feel healthy and taste great, I don't feel heavy afterwards.
The staff have always greeted me kindly and been helpful with food options. Even today the staff offered a bigger bag since mine was kind of full as I stuffed more things in it.

I can always count on Laughing Planet to be open, have friendly service, and feed me something good. I love their Green Dream smoothie, some of their soups are wonderful, and the variety of bowls means there’s no getting bored. I love eating in even though I live nearby because it’s a welcoming place, but you can find a quiet spot to relax and enjoy your meal.
