Saw it on the map...happened to be driving by today with sis'. We're from Texas, and good bbq is hard to find up there PNW. Since there were no subs on the platter we ordered by the lb. The sauces are tangy and good, along with the little helping of pickled veggies.
Burnt ends were delicious and slightly more moist than the sliced brisket, which we still devoured, (worth the extra but if $ conscious the brisket will more than suffice).
Then we moved on to the spare ribs and sausage. The ribs were damn delicious, pull apart, and superbly flavored. I suggest you clean the bone in between fits of meat Tourettes.
The sausage is of a slightly different variety that we're used to, but it was surprisingly amazing, perfectly spiced, just enough to cause a small bead of sweat, but not overbearing...and the best of the bunch. We ate two links in silence.
The lady behind the counter was funny, friendly, and entertaining, sharing similar stories about the love affair with Texas BBQ.
The portions are good and the price fair. Will be back.

The food was excellent and it was served very promptly. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon so the place was nearly deserted, but I imagine it's a happening spot in the evening hours.

Insanely delicious beef brisket. So tender, the brisket melted in my mouth. Great mac and cheese, interesting BBQ beans with a smoky-sweet depth that complemented the meats perfectly. Unmissable banana pudding with root beer brûléed bananas, candied pecans, and Nilla wafers was a heavenly way to cap off our experience. Absolutely some of the best BBQ in PDX!

Very good ribs, amazing brisket tips and surprisingly nice sausage. Pickles and beans good, but collard greens and coleslaw could be improved. Overall - really good BBQ that we will definitely come back to eat.
I bought $96 worth of their product. It was ok. Ribs were hard on the top. All of the sides were dry. Brisket was moist?? I think that they gave me yesterday days meals that they didn't sale. I picked up my order around 1'oclock. Maybe it was bad timing for me to try their restaurant. My first choice was Matt's and Bottos bbq. Lawless is not a great place for want I'm used to. It's hard to go wrong with making slow cooked bbq. Greg

I am hardly a barbecue expert, but I've had plenty enough to realize that it shouldn't be tough, chewy, or hard to get off the bone. I don't know if they were cutting corners or didn't know what they were doing, but it was a disappointing meal. It's possible to get pretty nice barbecue in the Pacific Northwest, but you're not going to find it here. Decent service, decent drinks, weak food—I wouldn't go back.

OMG......the BBQ Brisket nachos.......absolutely delicious! It's so good I overlooked the not so fresh chips. (be better if they used from scratch chips)I will be coming back & telling my friends!
