Very unfriendly and rude when we came with our family. We were planning to sit outside with our young kids to enjoy the sun and a beer and the vibe was hostile. We understand not wanting a brewery to be overrun with misbehaved and loud children, but we also weren't really given a chance to settle in with our kids.

The beer is fine, and place is pretty nice; I come every Sunday to play chess, but just got word that we can't play there anymore. Idk why, we are often there when the place is empty and stay for about 2 hours. Everyone buys something, but I guess we dont spend as much as they want so they told us to stop coming.

This is a nice neighborhood pub.There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. There are two small couch seats near the bar.The staff was friendly and helpful. Bussing was a bit slow.There is a food truck on site if you want more than drinks.There is a friendly resident cat who has the run of the pub including the bar counter top.The pub is also dog friendly.There are gas fire pits to keep warm around at night.There are many alcohol drink and non-alcohol drink options.The pub is cozy and well maintained.

First timer today! Incredible patio. I tried Leikams' Grateful Red ale and it was amazing! Wicked Gardens Vegan food truck was the cherry on top of a fun and quality experience. Great SE Burnside neighborhood spot, I'll be coming back :)

What a great spot. This is a gem on burnside. You might not guess from the humble house front as you pass by. This is A-class beer. I had a fresh, hoppy, crisp IPA that brought me back to the "old days" of C-Note (if you know, you know), and a rich (and also hoppy) red. Tried a few others, nothing disappointed. Cocktails too if that's your thing, but I stuck to the ales. The inside is rad and spacious, and tons of outdoor seating. Shaded all day by the beautiful giant chestnut tree next door. This is my new regular. Can't believe it wasn't already.
