Where has this place gone?? It's been closed for so long. Little Chickpea, are you coming back? This place was awesome and I've been craving it for months. One of the best non-dairy non-gluten deserts I've ever had. My personal fave is the cookies and cream with that chocolate waffle cone.

Best non-ice cream ice cream dessert in the world. Literally the best. Great customer service. Terrible hours. Ownership team shows incredible lack of management skill. They’ve literally been closed for two years. I know it’s difficult to run a retail store, especially in COVID, but stop teasing us. The taxpayers probably gave you thousands of dollars in disaster relief funding. Come back from your vacation and make a decision to either open for good or close for good.

Is this place still open? Stopped by but it looked boarded up and closed for good. I hope I'm wrong. I wanted to give them a try.

First off, it's more of a "cafe in the Pearl" than ice cream shop. I would totally take a first date there. There were tables for 2 and 4-person counter height tables. When we were there, it was pretty quiet with several customers hanging out. The flavors were not as abundant as something like Baskin Robins but for a place that only sold vegan, gluten free ice cream, they had a good number of flavors, with some uniquely appealing ones. I was so excited to get a waffle cone as most ice cream shops don't have gluten free AND vegan cones. The cookies and cream was delish, and so was the cold brew. If you're coffee candy lover, you'll love the ice cream! The texture was creamy and little more hearty/dense than something like Dreyer's ice cream. I loved the heft of it, as some vegan ice creams can have a light/watery texture. Once this stuff melts though, the emulsion breaks and you can see the tiny globules of fat suspended in liquid. This is not "ice cream soup" material. You'll have to eat it before it melts. - great excuse to gobble it up!

I was skeptical but honestly pretty impressed by this place! It's a great substitute for dairy ice cream. They have a wide selection of flavors, some unique ones in there, and offer samples. The texture is soft and pretty creamy for something made from chick peas! It was pretty refreshing on a warm day.

The best ice cream I've ever had. So sad this is so far away from Atlanta. I think about it often. Mint matcha, banana curry, rum raisin...

Superb non-dairy ice cream with a really creamy mouthfeel! The ice cream appeared a bit crumbly, however, that is an illusion, as it turned out to be a rich and creamy texture that melts in your mouth. I also particularly enjoyed the peach lavender, a combination I’d never seen before, but one that worked really well.

I was very surprised by how much I loved this ice cream. I only wish I got it in a cone since they had plain and chocolate to choose from. There were samples and once I tried to strawberry I knew I had to have it. I do wish I tried their tomato ice cream so I knew what that was about. Anyway I think the price is worth the size of the scoop. I needed help finishing the single scoop. The consistency is great and would come back here to try their other flavors. Chickpea ice cream so crazy lol

Had to try it for myself! This chickpea ice cream is seriously as good as everyone says. I got a single scoop of the cold brew flavor, and enjoyed it way more than I expected, even with high expectations. It's creamy, with a subtle flavoring, and not icy like some gelato or low calorie options can be. The scoop is large and at $4.75 it's probably enough to share, at least for me. The store is large with seating options and it's on a cute strip that would make for a great date night. I've found parking out front every time I've visited, though it is paid. Cant wait to bring my vegan friends/family for this unexpected treat!

Oh my goodness. See this ice cream cone? The cone itself is chocolate and the two half-scoops are Caramel Orange on the bottom and BlackBerry Basil on top. See how big those half scoops are? It was super delicious but you want to know the best part? No dairy, no soy, no gluten, no nuts. Yup, it's vegan ice cream made from... are you ready for this? Chickpeas! Yes! Garbanzos! I can't even begin to tell you how yummy this treat was. With over a dozen flavors such as Lavender Peach, Banana Curry and Melon Mint, the frozen concoctions here are absolutely delicious! I tried about 6 or 7 different flavors before I realized I was already going to have trouble deciding which one to get so I didn't try them all but I'll be back! You can count on it!

PHENOMENAL. Don't fight me, but I would split my time between here and salt and straw. The flavors are superb. When you think of ice cream alternatives usually you compromise flavor and texture to accommodate a dietary restriction and or to decrease caloric intake. Well folks, there is no compromise here. The texture is so creamy and I bet you wouldn't know it's dairy free unless I told you. Please please do give this place a try. I took some friends here from VA and they fell in love too. We tried about 6 flavors (sampling is open) and I ended up getting the melon mint flavor (wow) this time in a chocolate cone. 10/10 will be back!

the best vegan ice cream ever! i drove here from another shop that did vegan ice cream dirty :( all of their vegan options were made with coconut milk which completely overpowered every bite. don't expect this at little chickpea. this is a game changing product. upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly, kind staff behind the counter. we were offered samples of any flavors we wanted, i tried a few, and, my goodness, the cold brew coffee was delicious! i enjoyed every single bite. the coffee was strong and the texture was lovely! i now wish every place incorporated cool gluten free chickpeas as their base, it's absolutely genius! overall, absolutely worth a visit! plenty of options for everyone. even my non-vegan mother enjoyed and wants to come back for more! :)
