Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Service was equal parts engagement and privacy. The meals pace came out perfectly timed and the recommendation on drinks from the server were flawless. The food was perfectly cooked and I still am dreaming of the complexity of this burger. Wow. What an incredible and complex combination of flavors. The salads were the only miss and were overpriced and underwhelming. I'd say we'll be back but it is slated to close soon.

Such a lovely little spot! I had the macaroni gratin, and it was sublime. They bring fresh crusty bread and salted butter before your meal arrives, and the have a huge selection of spirits. The atmosphere is cozy, and very French. Loved all the little birds scattered throughout the restaurant.

One of the best meals we had in Portland! Awesome staff and service coupled with great tasting plates! Below is the chicken liver pate and a selection of local oysters. Both were excellent.

Just go! It's really an amazing place. We had high hopes, and they were exceeded. Food was delicious and cocktails...well, let's just say we had more than one. Also, many locals we spoke to recommended this place. We sat at the bar. Service was excellent.

Very French menu, albeit not extensive, but balanced choices plus substations for those of us with gluten & dairy issues. How yummy was that???

Absolutely delicious. Staff was exceptional. The house old fashioned with fernet, perfect. Chicken liver was something I've never had before but thoroughly delighted in. Oyster tasting was perfect. And the endive and nectarine salad was unlike anything I've had before. So fresh. Light. Crisp. I left so very happy to have sat at the bar for a late dinner. Thank you.

I dined in July 2019 and the last time I was there it was November 2014. I'm glad to say nothing has changed about the quality of Little Bird. We shared a charcuterie board (probably our favorite part of the meal), the bone marrow, and a duck entree. All hearty, full of flavor, and presented with care. Yet another lovely dining experience. Coming from the east coast to visit going to Little Bird was one of the things I was looking forward to and they did not disappoint!

Food was really good but took a long time for food and timing of food was way off. Finished with appetizer before they brought an additional piece of toast for it. Almost finished with dessert before coffee arrived. Wine served after appetizers delivered.

Amazing food and service. You can't go wrong at little bird. I'd highly suggest the macaroni and the duck from here!
