We came here for pirate night at Wyrd Leather. We got a fish taco special for the night and an asada burrito. After waiting 15 minutes for the order, we were very disappointed with the food. The tiny $5 fish taco had a 1”x2” piece or dry rubbed dry thin fish, not worthy of any Mexican style fish taco that is grilled or battered. I wanted the lengua but they were out so we decided to get the pastor instead. The burrito was so overly salty we both could only eat a bit even though we hate wasting food, we just couldn’t do it, and we drank a gallon of water after. Both my partner and my stomach started to cramp afterwards, but think it was just due to the salt. Would never eat at this truck again.

You just can't go wrong with their menu and portions! Their burritos are behemoth and delicious! Also there is a Taco Tuesday at Wyrd Leather and Mead next to it, grab some tacos from Loly and head down stairs and get a small discount on drinks!
So, I was over at Wyrd Leatherworks and Meadery for the second time and was looking to get something to eat (Wyrd allows outside food in their establishment). I asked them about the food truck in their parking lot and they said it was excellent so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did because the food was really good and I was definitely well-fed for the money I spent. So, if you're ever in the neighborhood, I advise you to stop in and grab something to eat. Oh, and they're pretty easy to find because they're in a big yellow cargo van in the parking lot outside Wyrd and are visible quite easily from the street as you drive along. I don't know Portland very well, so having a place that serves good food AND is easy to find is a blessing. LOL. But seriously, I've been eating fast food and take-out food for three decades due to working on the road and I feel that the type of food served here is ideal because it hits all the food groups, has a large enough variety to keep a person from getting bored, and it is filling and delicious. It also doesn't give you that bloaty feeling that is so common in fast, low-quality food. I am writing this review late and have actually stopped in two more times to sample their menu further. So far, everything I've tried has been excellent. Yeah, this place is now on my list of favorite places to eat in the Portland area.

The food here is divine! It's located right in the Wyrd Tasting Room parking lot so it is so easy to just grab some tacos and have some drinks. I hit this place up everytime I am in the area. Pastor Tacos are divine.
