Easily on my list of Portland's best (which is hard to do). They offer amazing beers (I recommend the Porter and the Red as well as the seasonally brewed Kick Axe for the Timbers FC) and delicious food. The burger is my default and it's delicious, but I would recommend giving the chicken strips a go. They season them perfectly and with loads of flavor. The pub itself is very "Portland" and never disappoints in making me feel right at home.
I'm not sure why there are so many reviews saying there's bad food. My husband had a burger and devoured it, he really loved it. We split a plate of nachos for an appetizer and they were delicious! I love their chips! I had a BAAT with the black bean and ham soup and it was amazing. Service was decent enough and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We can't wait to go back! On our way out we saw someone receiving the fish and chips and Mac and cheese. It looked sooo good....
Very cool and chill spot. I really liked their LSD beer (relax, it's not a drug). Lamb burger and delicious. Service was excellent! I'm glad I choose this place as my last stop before returning to California!
