It's a quiet place but the food is good if you know what to get. Good happy hour too. I think it's an underrated spot that too many people maybe think should be something it's not. Give it a try and set reasonable expectations and you'll be happy.
I love to get pupusas to go from this place! They are always delicious and I love that they give lots of curtido, so yummy. Sorry the curtido is not in my photo, it came on the side:)
I had lunch at Los Pepitos Locos yesterday because I had noticed this taqueria several times. It has a good sized parking lot which was really nice since 42nd is such a busy street so I had intended on street parking originally. The dining room is big and nicely decorated. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from including American breakfasts, salads, Centro American and Mexican dishes. Super tasty fresh salsa and chips.
