Unfriendly staff, almost as if I was bothering them by ordering. Overpriced for what I received. Not worth it. Chocolate croissant not even heated, so pretty much unedible.

i ordered an 8oz chai and avocado toast, both overpriced. i didnt try my drink until i got home, at which point i discovered it was not chai, but coffee, which i cant drink. it also had what appeared to be an eyelash or something in it. avocado toast was mid. wont be going back.

Absolutely the most flavorful dark coffee to drink with delicious coffee cake, YOU can count on different flavors.

I normally don't give 5 starts. This place is wonderful. Many yummy bakery items to choose from. I love the artwork they display. I think from a local artist. Highly recommend

Monkey bread was a little hard but I did go late in the day, would probably be very good when fresh baked.

The order was wrong. Items online are not on the menu. What's on the menu was not available and they made a substitution without knowing. Cashier not properly trained. Disappointing experience.

5 inch sub was $17. Price isn’t listed on the board so I was expecting something cheaper- I went ahead once I was told the price, expecting a large sandwich. I was stunned to see a small 5inch or 6 inch sub handed to me. After tipping this was over $20. A bakery sandwich has no business being this expensive

Any sandwich place in the city would give you more for less.

The Great North is my favorite coffeeshop in St Johns! They roast their own beans and their americanos and lattes are exceptional! And if you’re hungry, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious! All the baristas are welcoming and friendly and I enjoy chatting with them while waiting for my coffee. if you’ve never been to the Great North, you should definitely check it out.

I recently visited for a friend’s birthday and we had a wonderful experience. I was able to get in contact with the owner, Matt, to reserve a table in advance. They had reservation signs especially made and set out for us, and were so accommodating the entire time. The food and coffee is always incredible, and we will definitely be returning!

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Lovejoy pastries used to be among the best in town. Now they look and taste like something you’d get at the airport. Chocolate croissants are tiny and burnt, Kouign-amann has no caramelization or sweetness.
