I'm nostalgic for this kind of Chinese vegan cuisine but the food was a little bit worse than I hoped. I had a pretty good meal but some items were a bit bland and others had too much sauce.
Ping's Chow Mein included wheat noodles, vegan beef, tofu, and green onions. While my meal was served quickly, my partner waited quite a while for his. I finished my water, but the server didn't offer more until we were ready to leave. The restaurant menu is on the small size and we decided on the beef with broccoli and the sweet and sour pork. The food came out fast, was a large serving, and was tasty. My partner thought the sweet and sour pork was a standout. He said it reminded him of the food he ate as a kid when his family went to the local Chinese restaurant.
