Despite having a 645 reservation, it took 15 minutes to seat us, but that's not such a big deal as they appeared, slammed. Once seated, we didn't see our server for at least 10 minutes. :-( And in ordering wine, it didn't come for another 15 minutes. The pork cheek special was outstanding.! However, the tagliatelle was boring and comparison. I love this restaurant yet. This was a bit of a disappointing experience.

We arrived at open for an early dinner. The pork cheeks and polenta was the standout. The budino as dessert, fabulous. Forgot how good this place is!

I ate here about 7-8 years ago and have been wanting to go back. The service...was by far the best I've ever had. Checked in regularly, personable, and chose the perfect wine to go with the entree. My husband had the steak which was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. My brother had his eye on a couple entrees but they didn't have meat in them so he opted for pizza which he devoured. It would be nice if they could offer meat on the meatless original entrees but nonetheless we were all happy with the options. We went for a 6:30 reservation which was perfect as they didn't rush us and was thoroughly able to enjoy of a company .

Great Menu, empathizing seasonal produce, great pasta dishes, nice selections of meat entrees, fire oven pizzas and Italian wine list. The service is wonderful, and we love the ambience and feel very lucky to have this in our hood!

Very good pizza (mushroom with a taste of truffle), lovely modified Caesar salad. But the noise was horrible--so loud that, even sitting in a corner seat, we and our friends could hardly converse, and then only cross-table, and not diagonally. I would love to return to Lucca often, but won't because my partner was so hoarse afterwards and she would resist.

Beautiful dining room, attentive and professional service, the dishes we had (pizza, beet/burrata app, Caesar and a Bolognese pasta dish) were fresh and well executed. We will definitely be back.

Food was very good and service top notch. Only thing I didn't like was them wanting to charge me $3 for extra Parmesan. Waiter did credit it out and all was well. Would definitely return.
The food was fine but not particularly special. We did have one order that seemed to have been forgotten. They tack on an "employee health charge" or something to that effect of 3%. Honestly, not terribly impressed on the whole.

We've been coming here for a decade or so and it's always been a good experience. But as of late, things seem to have been taken up a notch or three! The food tonight was amazing! Lots of local, fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables paired with pastas, meat and fish in creative and delicious preparations. Excellent drinks and a thoughtful wine list. Just a wonderful dining experience in this beloved neighborhood trattoria!
