Really sweet & hardworking staff. Quick service. The ramen was just ok. Not a lot of vegetables or noodles- but the beef was tender & lean. The broth was good, but nothing I would crave. It’s a great spot for ramen in a pinch, or if you’re shopping at H Mart and need something to eat

I ordered the Veggie Ramen (veggie broth, kale noodles, fried tofu, bok choy, sweet corn, enoki and shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, scallions, red ginger, black garlic mayu, and nori) without egg. The big bowl arrived streaming hot. The broth was flavorful, but slightly spicy even though I chose the least amount. I appreciated the various ingredients even though I ended up with a pile of corn at the bottom.

Simply amazing authentic ramen! Tried a lot of ramen places and this one stands out with flavors like I have never tasted before. Definitely unique and a fun experience to eat at the counter top. For sure my go to ramen spot in the PDX area. As a vegetarian, it's often difficult to find ramen places where their vegetarian broth is just as tasty as their meat options. I love their veggie ramen with the kale noodles! Everyone I have brought here always loves it, too!

Honestly? This might be a controversial take for some people, but I think Lucky Cat ramen is the freaking best ramen in Portland. Being from Portland and also being a ramen connoisseur, I feel justified in this opinion. The broth is superb and has depth of flavor, it’s CHEAP but doesn’t taste cheap, the noodles are literal perfection. The pork and beef are thinly sliced and actual edible unlike some places where you feel like you’re chewing on a tire. And bonus points for it being in H-Mart- you can go straight to grocery shopping after. 😎 5/5 in my book.
