I love Lu’s. The chicken adobo and lumpia are my favorite. When I’m sick I come get the sinigang tamarind soup. Lou is always so kind. In an age where so many restaurants are aiming for Instagram photo appeal, it’s refreshing to be able to get homestyle cooking and service with a smile.
I tried this place out at the Hillsboro station food cart pod since it's a little more rare to find Filipino food in Oregon. They serve some basic Filipino dishes as well as teriyaki. The pancit bihon was not the best I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't anywhere near the worst either, it had a decent flavor and comes with a big serving and reasonable price.
