This was our second time eating here. The food was outstanding! The service was great! Everyone was so nice and friendly. And for the money, a great value for what you get. I highly recommend trying them.

The food and cocktails were amazing, and the staff was incredible. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time! I highly recommend sitting at the chef's counter.

this was my 2nd time dining here after i loved my 1st experience, food was great but needed improvements, especially considering the price..the crab noodles had some pieces of shell in them, and the oxtail kare kare was missing that authentic peanut taste and needed more umami - maybe shrimp paste as well. The sisig tasted good but needed to be crispier to balance out the textures as there were many pieces of fat.

Amazing food! The staff was fun, knowlegable and inviting. Being from Chicago, I've enjoyed a lot of Philippine food. This was the best I've had. The crab fat noodles, the pancit, and the skewers were out of this world! 10/10 will go again!!

Awesome find for date night! Cool vibe, quick seating and friendly staff. Sat at the chefs counter which is always fun. Food was fantastic! Our favorites were the sisig, laing, and mom’s crab fat noodles. But there were quite a few things we didn’t get that looked amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Delicious and inventive Filipino food in an underrated part of Portland. Tried a lot of the menu and our favorite dishes wereLonganisa skewerLumpiaLumpiang SariwaPancit MoloPancit BihonMom’s Crab Fat NoodlesThe drinks here are also amazing. Favorite two cocktails of the night were the Manila Sling and the Tam-ina.They also had two off-menu dessert items, and we tried both. The chocolate tart with pandan crème was was amazing and I will be thinking about it for a long time.

Service was great and the food was both quick and delicious. Unique flavors, quality ingredients and generous portion sizes. We sat outside with our baby as it was a nice sunny day and a bit more accommodating to a stroller. Inside was a little more intimate and small so definitely would not have wanted to take a stroller in there.

Dinner at Magna Kusina was great! We came to celebrate my son's birthday and the folks at Magna Kusina delivered. Ever dish from the skewers to the entrées were delicious and made with love. The cocktails were amazing we had Margaritas that were some of the best we've ever had. The Wagyu beef, longganisa and chicken skewers were so delicious and were a crowd favorite at our table. The Lumpia spring rolls were off the hook, with a sauce that was slightly spicy and sweet, very unexpected. The pork Sisig was also well prepared and smelled so fragrant, it was savory, with flavors that popped in your mouth. My mom (84) even loved the dish and she never has a good thing to say about any restaurant.? The staff surprised us with a birthday dessert that was so good, paired with a cider and gin flavored shots with whip cream on top, that was a dessert itself. Thanks Christian. If you are on the fence and thinking about eating at Magna Kusina, just GO, you won't be disappointed!!!??

The InKind app was offering 50% off if you spend at least $200 here, which is kinda unbelievable, but as a group of 2 we went and ordered almost everything on the menu aside from the whole crab and the oxtails, & it was all great. Particular favorites were the crab fat noodles, the sisig, the coconut sticky rice dessert, & all 6 skewers we tried. The dumplings, the lumpia, the black garlic crepe, the pancit bihon rice noodles & the braised greens were also very good.If you can get the 50% off deal it's a no brainer (it was only my 2nd time using that app, no idea how often it gives out such deals) but even at normal price this is an awesome place with great service & atmosphere, the chef was right there the whole time talking to everybody, & delicious interesting food.9/12 on flavor, 10/13 on variety = 8th best restaurant in Portland on my list
