I actually ate at the Oregon City location in the corner fourteen food cart pod. The owner's mother Pilar was working and she was fantastic to talk with and accommodate mine and my friends requests to adjust the spice in the food and use the tupperware that I brought which is now oregon state law. I ordered the Tallarines a la Huancaína With steak, Spicy. It was a delightful combination of flavorful and creamy, well cooked pasta and perfectly accompanied by the steak tomato onion caramelized sauciness. The hot chocolate was a good sweetness And had a yummy unique spice to it. My friend ordered the ceviche without any Chile, garlic or ginger added, because she has a very low tolerance for spice. It was still very well-balanced and bright with the lime and onion and fresh fish. I can't Wait to go back and try everything else! I lived in lima and this comes as close as you can being outside of the country.

This place used to be my favorite spot for peruvian food, today that has changed. I went to have lunch and de lomo saltado was SWEET. Huancaina too liquid and the potatoes from the Papa a la huancaina were super overcooked, I could barely grab a piece of it without destroy it. Definetly not coming back, neither recommend it. So disappointing :l

Their food is affordable filling and extremely delicious. With lots of obvious love care and passion in every bowl. I highly recommend any visitors at the BG's food cartel stop by and try some authentic delicious Peruvian cooking. I would give Mama Peruvian 10 stars if I could!

Amazing authentic Peruvian food! The lady at the cart was incredibly nice and welcoming, so much so that she ran across the street to give me the sauce I forgot. I’ve never seen such great service from a food cart in my life. 10/10 and I highly recommend the papa a la huancaina!!
